shit. if I was in Toronto I know the perfect cat lady to call. One time at like 3 AM on Halloween a few years ago.. I was coming back to my place in Chinatown with Sixteenarmedjack and Krinjah from some jam. this super tiny black kitten came running out of an alley and ran straight up to me. she was so small she could fit in one hand. couldn't have been more than 4 weeks old, so obviously needed mothers' milk or special formula. I thought it was really lucky the cat chose me to run up to, cuz, it being Halloween, who knows what some random city people might have done to it. so I kept the cat with me all night. this cat lady is so good, first thing in the morning, she came by my place and picked it up. She gave it the right formula and cared for it until it was full grown, and then found it a good home. how cool is that?? she's like... the Cat Master. anyway i really wish I knew the Montreal equivalent of that cat lady to rescue these twins... if anyone knows of anyone like her in the MTL area or any organizations that could help let me know ASAP thx! |

Liam, If I was in Mtl I'd take them, I hate to see animals homeless. They'd have lots of room with my cat in my 3 bedroom place, but I won't be travelling to Montreal for a few months cause of Christmas and sick kids. So good luck, sorry I can't be of any help. |

the guy there said he hadn't heard back from my friend and couldn't afford taking care of them any more. So they took them to the SPCA at Jean Talon & Decarie last weekend. so ya. I just called the SPCA 10 minutes ago and she found the record of the two twin tabbies brought in. she took my cell down and said she'd call me back Update » recoil wrote on Fri Nov 27, 2009 @ 5:36pm ok. the guy just called back. they were brought in on the 21st.
the one cat is still there and is up for adoption. as for the other 5 year old *perfectly healthy* cat.... it started vomiting 2 days after being brought in. no doubt from stress. and it was euthanized on the 24th R.I.P. Jesus fucking Christ. When I got the call in Hamilton, I explicitly told my friend to contact the house and have them call me before any decision was made - which he agreed to do. That was well over 3 weeks ago. instead, they chose to ignore the situation and let the problem solve itself, and now one of the cats is dead. anybody who thinks this shit is funny, you keep it to your damn self, cuz I would slap a man in his stupid fucking face for joking about this. I'm a little vexxed about this out |
