Rave.ca Extremely Slow Since A Few Days...

| Am I the only one to have this problem?
[ rave.ca ] (and no other website) has been reaaaaally slow since about a week... sometimes the pages don't even load because of the browser's timeout! |

| I thought that was just me 'cause I'm being throttled by videotron..
What really makes things worse is that now that [ rave.ca ] is HTTPS, eeeeeeeeevery single time you load a page it downloads eeeeeeeeeevery image all over again.. 1 day of browsing ravewave is about 700 megs in cache.. |

| yeah, like now [ rave.ca ] is fine, but once in a while it gets really slow as hell.. but that could just be me being throttled..
Maybe make it a user option to use http/https? 'cause that's what I find is the worst part when ravewave gets slow.. the text shows up fine buy every image is re-downloaded rather than loaded from cache.. |

| i do not understand why... i will make a server load chart this week and we will see what is happening but i have a feeling it's being throttled the site for some people... no clue why... |

| I think that on my end it's really just videotron throttling me..
But I still keep getting the weird profile loading bug/glitch a few times a day.. at least 1/3 of the time I look at my/someone's profile, it loads only the left column of the profile, up to the Latest Attending Events.. after that, nothing lower than that loads, and the right column with the /producer/dj/promoter, picture gallery, comments, etc.. doesn't show up at all.. if I leave it, it refreshes itself after a few seconds, but always just sorta sticks there like a loop of loading the left column partialy and then refreshing after 15-20 seconds |

| yeah i will have that problem fixed this week... i know exactly what is causing that i just have not had the time to fix it... it's your upcoming events for djs and so and the type of query it is... |

| the right column in profils is sometimes much slower to load for me, but it still loads in the end :)
i haven't had the "page load failures" problem since i created this thread, though... hmmm |

| ... slow as shit from roughly 4:40am to now... now at 5am I can get pages to load fully in about 40-ish seconds, but around 4:40 to 5 it would take over 2 minutes to get the page to go from blank white background to black background and side-menu.. |

| It was making a backup at that time... The site gets really slow then but at least there is a backup of everything on the site. It takes a lot of time to copy 250gigs of files. DB stuff goes super slow then. |
