Maybe U2 will move on from their Spiderman Musical (opening Feb 25th, 2010!) to start an X-Men one. With Hannah Montana and whatever else.
I'm feeling discordian right now..

I had vintage X Factor / X Men from the 70s... first appearance of Wolverine, first appearance of the new X Men, this X-Men Hellfire Club/Death of Phoenix series, Spiderman Coffin series, the Punisher, the Nam, Elektra Assassin VS Daredevil... all gone now though =(

correction... X-Factor didn't even start until the 80s. I meant I had the old X-men issues before Wolverine and them started. those old dudes became X-Factor. ok that's enuff geeking out

my dad's still got a bunch of those.. Silver Surfer #1, Giant Sized X-Men #1, Conan #1, Judge Dredd #1, KISS #1 (where there was 1 liter of blood from each band member mixed into the red ink used to print the comic!)
I'm feeling like a drama magnet right now..

lol. awesome. shit I had forgotten all about that Silver Surger guy. I also had all the Secret Wars where the Beyonder fucks shit up.

ya I had that Giant Size X-Men - and X-Men 94. lol I still remember the issue numbers. those were the ones that the new X Men came out in. they were worth a lot of money even back in the mid 80s.

X Men was badass. I wonder if those old ones have been reissued now as graphic novels or something. I would like to read some of em again just to reminisce.. I've forgotten all the little plot lines.

the Hellfire Club / Dark Phoenix issues were sick.

noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! yeah i totally agree that marvel comics won't fit anywhere within disney's "family" direction. Man, watch them start shaping the sexy busty women like dora the explorer, and watch them give xavier a squeaky mickey mouse voice! ARRGGGHH!
the incredible hulk is now going to promote veggies, just like the damn cookie monster, who is now THE VEGGIE MONSTER!
*end of rant* :)
I'm feeling i <3 candy right now..

yeah.. it's not in top quality anymore, but it's not really ragged edged or anything.. it wasn't in a bag for the longest time.. he's got like two boxes full of stuff that he's been holding onto forever.. a few bagged copies of the Death of Superman.. all sorts of shit.. Somewhere I've got the first 8 issues of Spawn also, as well as all the first few runs of Aliens and Aliens vs Predator :P

christ. When I said The Death of Goof Stacey, I was just off the top of my head coming up with the weirdest/randomest scenarios I could think of.

Turns out I'm not the only one, one of my favorite webcomics just did it!
