At least though we can see their IP address on this forum, as opposed to every other forum where they're hidden so you "can't get hacked" Some forums, like Dogs on Acid, there's easily like 10 people that have more than 5 aliases that just troll all the time and post stupid shit/derail threads non-stop.

Coolness: 159140	I think alter egos are for pussies who don't have the balls to reply for themselves so they have to create some other "persona" to say it for them. Ultimately, we all know it's coming from the same person because 85% of the time, all the alter egos write, reply and think alike. And people who use them don't think everyone else is smart enough to figure it out. But we do. Most of us can spot them a mile away. But they prefer not to admit it ( hey, if you resort to creating another version of you to express yourself, chances are you're not going to be admitting you created such a clone ) and pretend they constantly have the upper hand. I guess it's a form of security for them. It's a bit sad you have to resort to that what looks like some sort of mental illness and hide behind multiple characters to express what you truly feel. To me, it all looks like [ ] Identity Disorder.
