" In the hive the bees use their "honey stomachs" to ingest and regurgitate the nectar a number of times until it is partially digested. The bees work together as a group with the regurgitation and digestion until the product reaches a desired quality. "

yummy!

it also says that bees have to bat their wings to evaporate the excess water, so the honey doesn't ferment.. which proves once and for all: bees don't get drunk.

FUCK, bee vomits, than eat their vomit back, then vomit again, they repeat the process x number of times in the middle of a group sex session, then we eat the vomit? This is sooooo sick.

It reminds me of the 2 girls one cup video , it's terrible.

Thank you people, i'll never eat honey again.
I'm feeling at peace right now..

Ah the plight of the beekeeper.

Just so you know, back when I was vegan I listened to psy too, I thought it was cool then. Then after a few years I realized that despite being so-called "psychedelic" music, that every transition was totally formulaic. This was counter-intuitive to all the talk about avoiding the Hive Mind, and I abandoned the scene, unable to deal with this critical logical failure and hypocrisy.

Veganism is not bad for your health.

I admit I, I was trolling. Trolling you.

I would personally love to work in a vegan restaurant. Easy to clean up, less waste, healthy food, and no ethical problems with the food served. Mostly. Depends what you think of soya's effect on the global ecosystem.

But I do not need to wave a freaking banner about it or insist that other people get with the program. Diet is a personal choice that should be decided based on what signals your body is giving you (and yes, there is a guide somewhere to what your food cravings are indicating you are lacking). As a vegan, I lacked protein, calcium and magnesium, as well as lecithin, and I have a very weak immune system already so this meant I was getting sick all the time. I had to bulk up and I had to make sure my nervous system and skeleto-muscular system were not in danger, and this meant reintegrating meat into my diet.

There are other ways. But really, it's more important to be ethical about your diet than to go against our naturally omnivorous digestive system, and to politicize the debate about whether or not we "need" meat and meat by-products.
I'm feeling mighty frisky right now..

Did getting sick so often made you more irritable and pissed off knowing everyone kept on eating meat despite telling them how meat is bad for them and everybody should be vegan like you because, well, you wouldn't feel so left out so much when all your friends are hooking up on saturdays for barbecue and the occasional outing to Baton Rouge ?

No ? Well why does this Jehovah's Witness-like behavior seem to be exhibited by most other vegan I know ? Some of them seem to think we're addicted to meat. Last I checked, I don't put corned beef in my cereal.

Then again, I thought vegans smoke tofu so I too have misconceptions about it, admittedly.

>: )

man bacon smoothies sounds like such an awesome idea...

I had an awesome idea for a bacon product once.. like cheeze-in-a-can, but bacon in a can! Just grind up bacon untill it's paste, then put it in a pressurized can, and you can instantly squeeze out bacon into your pan and make shapes that would fit whatever you're making!

Nick: "Now there are many options available for dangerously underweighted individuals like yourself. I recommend a slow steady gorging process combined with assal horizontology."
Homer: "Of course."
Nick: "You'll want to focus on the neglected food groups such as the whipped group, the congealed group and the chocotastic!"
Homer: "What can I do to speed the whole thing up, Doctor?"
Nick: "Well...be creative. Instead of making sandwiches with bread, use poptarts. Instead of chewing gum, chew bacon, ..."
Bart: "You could brush your teeth with milkshakes!"
Nick: "Hey, did you go to Hollywood Upstairs Medical College too? And remember, if you're not sure about something, rub it against a piece of paper. If the paper turns clear, it's your window to weight gain.

maybe i'm the only one, but i can picture the scene ... XD

and yes, Flynn, vegans make vegetarians look bad ;)

i just don't eat flesh, fuck if i know why, but i never make anyone feel bad about eating meat.

like i've always said, i don't eat meat so that you all can eat more of it ... :p

Thats a very ignorant comment my dear. My health is better than most my friends' who aren't vegans. I switched back and forth until last year, vegan to eating seafood/eggs and I can tell you this: when I'm vegan, especially now that I'm only eating raw vegan foods, I am never ill, I don't need much sleep to feel rejuvenated, my skin texture improved dramatically and I can work longer shifts. I feel even better when I'm fasting!

Eating meat and dairy is totally unnecessary. Dairy especially. Havent you noticed that we're the ONLY animal on this planet who insists on drinking milk after we're supposed to be done with it? The fact that it's not even our own milk AND that it's cooked on top of it is even more absurd. Havent you also noticed that ALL carnivores have claws and fangs? There's a reason for that. We are meant to be herbivores! We are also meant to eat raw foods. It's simple common sense to me. People who cook their foods have a much higher % of serious illnesses.

And don't tell me the typical BS "you cant get enough protein". There are TONS of options... Hemp seeds, cacao beans, goji berries, nutritional yeast, sprouted lentils/buckwheat/quinoa, nuts/seeds, spirulina, etc etc. I get as much protein on a raw vegan diet than I did b4. As for calcium, you can get loads in young thai coconut meat, chia seeds, tahini and kale. I think once you research enough to come up with a balanced diet and how to replace protein, veganism is probably the healthiest diet there can be.

Eating a cadaver has nothing appealing to me, but hey, to each his own. I make my "cheese" with soaked nuts/yeast/tahini/red peppers and it tastes the exact same thing as nacho cheese. I fooled many people :)

I'll tell you what's wrong with Hitler, he was still consuming dairy... lol
