Showering - At Morning Or At Night?

 Coolness: 93505 | So, I was always under the assumption that people shower in the morning. But both my new roommates shower at night. So perhaps, its not uncommon as I thought.
So heres my question: Do you shower at night, or in the morning?...and why? Im a morning shower person. I find it wakes me up. And I dont like the feeling of putting clothes on as soon as I wake up unless I take a shower first. |

I think most people who shower before going to bed do it that way because they were raised like this and never changed their habits. Usually, when you're a baby/kid, your parents wash you during the evening because they have much more time than in the morning, and they want you to sleep better and clean... |

I don't think "never changed their habits" has anything to do with this though. I was raised by an "at home" mom who bathed me at all hours of the day and I still shower before going to bed. Why ? Because I don't like to fester in my own filth during my sleep. Not only that but when I don't shower before going to sleep, my body temperature seems to raise dramatically for some reason ( I suppose my body feel refreshed after a shower ) so there's a chance I'll wake up in the middle of the night in a pool of my own sweat... and then I have to go back to sleep in it before waking up feeling like I've slept in a crematorium all night. Showering before going to bed lowers by body temperature and I feel more relaxed too. I sleep more soundly and I usually don't wake up as if I'm camping in an amazonian forest. |
