Yep the only "missing" sets from Schizophrenia 3 are now Abelcain, Mark N, and Unibomber. I'm working on getting the Abelcain set up - it's the best live set I've ever heard from him, totally amazing.

it's arguably one of the best breakcore sets of all time... the version of Necrophilia that he put together is total madness.

Detroit, MI -- This Labor Day Weekend, the Schizophrenia event series returns to Detroit, where it established itself in 2007 as North America's premiere event for hardcore techno, breakcore and extreme electronics. Schizophrenia 4 takes place on Sat, Sep 5 (address TBA on day of event), with headlining acts Somatic Responses (UK), Sickboy (Belgium), Cdatakill (Denver), Dev/Null (Boston), and many more. The event runs all night from 8 PM to 6 AM, cover is $15 before 9 PM and $20 after 9 PM, and is open to all ages.

As Detroit's own purveyors of hard, broken beats, Low Res Records and From the Gut join forces with Ohio's No Room for Talent Records to present the fourth installment of Schizophrenia. Not wanting to be outdone by last year's installment in Madison, the series returns to the birthplace of techno with none other than the UK's Somatic Responses, in their first ever visit to Detroit, and their first performance in the United States in over a decade. Riding the wave of their recent Reformation release (Ad Noiseam), comprised of earth shattering dubstep, the Welsh duo's live performance will also dig deep into their extensive discography of complex dislocated & broken beats, distorted intelligent constructions, and fascinating sonic structures, on revered labels such as Drop Bass, Hymen, Industrial Strength, Zhark, and Praxis Records, with promised injections of hardcore, breakcore, and hard Midwest acid.

Supporting acts will include Cdatakill (Denver, Low Res, Ad Noiseam, Zhark Records), a one-man wrecking crew who has worked closely with Schizophrenia veteran Abelcain and headlined last year's preparty event in Madison; Sickboy and Droon (Belgium, Peace Off, Tigerbeat6 Records), the co-founders of Belgium's influential Breakcore Gives Me Wood events crew; Dev/Null (Boston, Cock Rock Disco); Unibomber (Chicago, Distort, Noizetek Records) and Fishead (Northern Hardcorps, Montreal), notable veterans of every Schizophrenia event since 1997, and acts not to be missed; Stagediver (Milwaukee, Distort Records), J-Stat (Detroit, Void, From the Gut), Deadlines (Detroit, Void, From the Gut), In Broken Key (Akron, No Room For Talent), and K.Attic (Detroit, randomreason), in addition to three VJ's from Winnipeg, Toronto, and Montreal, respectively, performing live projected video installations.

The event runs all night from 8 PM to 6 AM, cover is $15 before 9 PM and $20 after 9 PM, and is open to all ages. Event location will be announced on the day of the event at infoline 313-483-1544, and event website [ schizophrenia.c8.com. ]
