man 3000w , thats fucking nice output for 300$ , not that expensive , good bran , and the tank looks big.

the downfall, youll have to have a van or a trailor to drag this around.

unless you know how to rig this on a roof of a car and still drive around without the police pull you for car modification...

the last time i had a price over the 2.5kW range , it was a 5kW (5000w) for 900$ , used! , so nice deal you have there.

the reason it's so cheap is because it's not a honda engine... if it had a honda engine it would be 3x the price, but probably a 3x better engine...

shure , but is this thing going to work 24/7 365 days a year nonstop ?

you could get a lotus motor too, the day it will die it will die on you no matter the brand.

as long as you stay at operating range and not in between operating and peek you will be fine for years. (keep it out of the rain / moisture too and always oiled.)

this is for ppl that work outside and build developments, if you break it, chances are because of manipulation , not at all with load usage.
Update » cutterhead wrote on Tue May 5, 2009 @ 1:12am
by the way nuclear , its the INVERTER board that you have to be carfull of ,

you should be more worry if the electrical / diodes will hold, and watch out if there is a safety blownout switch ( fuses )

the first blue one is mighty efficient !

Watts: 2200W Peak Power, 2000W Running Power
Amps: Output Current 16.6A, Max Circuit 20A
Motor: 3.8HP 5500RPM 125CC Hyundai Motor
Start: Manual Recoil
Outlets: Two 120V 16.6A AC & one 12V 8.3A DC
Fuel Capacity: 7 L
Max. AC Output: 1000W
Fuel Type: Unleaded Gasoline
Running Time: 5.5 Hrs

thou i spoted a catch . since it has a DC outlet, they are calculating the overall of the generator.

this is in fact a 1000w generator disguised into a 2000w one, you will NEVER use the 12v dc outlet unless you have an other 1000w inverter to create the 2000w AC current.

not a true 2000w , this explains the size and cost.
Update » cutterhead wrote on Thu May 7, 2009 @ 2:19pm
oops its a 2000w, 1000w per plug ac, see correction in next message

Does that mean you can hook up two of these together to somehow create more power? It does say there are TWO AC outlets, doesn't that mean 1000 watts each outlet? or 1000 watts for both (500 each)...

^ you guys could have end up in a major liability issue ! generator has to be outdoor , or with a cheminy that wraps it completely : but 99% of insurance compagny demands that all generator are in a well vented area maning outside.

GUYS I GOT CONFUSED AT 3AM this generator IS 2000watts :

May 7 2009 @ 2:09pm
sorry 3 am confusion : let me correct myself. first message was on it, second i lost it :)

so here is errata :
May 7 2009 @ 2:08pm
Watts: 2200W Peak Power, 2000W Running Power

Outlets: Two 120V 16.6A AC & one 12V 8.3A DC
120volts *times 16.6amps AC = 1992watts

tis would be the peek of watts 2000w

then they claim =
Max. AC Output: 1000W this is per plug but rarely you will go above this unless you rig a microwave this is what leaded me to be confused and made a 10 fold error on the DC calculus

&& the one 12volts *time 8.3amps DC = 99.6watts

so yea, your right , i dunno why i tought it was the other half of the 1000w.
must have been seeing double LOL

so definitely 1000w per plug giving you 2kW

i dunno for tolerance , since this seems to be more for campers than contractor *like the other one you posted the other day*

but all in all , like i said , if your too use it no more than once a week , chances are youll have it for longer than house contractors would.

im sorry i created a confusion. this was unintended for.
I'm feeling snafu right now..
