I honestly don't even think about it, and the next thing I know I haven't smoked for a week. That's when I bust out my pack and light one up.
I'm feeling cool right now..

Its horrible.
Ive tried it once...lasted 3 months, and was the biggest BITCH ever.
It was horrible.
A girl I know did the laser treatment thing...its like 500$, but I heard it works. Shes a 40 year old lady that has been smoking for like 1642454 years...and she hasent smoked in like 4 months !
Its covered by my insurances, so I guess I could try to quit...buuttt....I like smoking.
one day though.
I'm feeling newyorknewyork right now..

Why not just cut back by 1 cigerette per week? You'll have quit in half a year. Quitting cold turkey is probably so much more difficult.
I'm feeling apathetic right now..

Cold Turkey though is really the best way to go about it..

No matter how much you slowly cut back, you're still giving yourself the cigarette/nicotine (through gum/patch)..

It's like you're giving up before you even start by telling yourself you're not strong enough to stop. Cigarettes aren't heroin; you don't risk dying of shock from the withdrawl to your system, it's just unpleasent for two weeks, but after two weeks you've got no more nicotine in your system and the physical addiction is gone!

All that's left after the two-week mark is the psychological addiction; smoking after a meal, smoking while drinking, smoking when you're stressed out.. The habbits and routines are harder to break than the actual addiction to the nicotine.

wait until you have a cold or something, It's easier to not smoke when you are sick and a good way to start quitting.
I'm feeling meow right now..

well smoking/nicotine is a hunger suppresant, so when you stop smoking, you feel more of the hunger (that natural and you're supposed to be feeling) that you weren't feeling as a result, which is why most people gain some weight when they quit smoking (even people who smoke only weed, since most of them roll with some tobbaco also)

Try replacing one addiction with another. I quit smoking by switching to hard drugs, and I've been smoke-free for a year! lol :p

Seriously, I've that replacing one addiction for another that is easier to stop works quite effectively. Anything that is distracting could work. Hell, I even knew a guy who replaced smoking with masturbation( I kid you not), and hasn't smoked for about 3 years now.
I'm feeling courageous right now..

Ahahah! if you don't...because, ok ya youre all right about your facs but the thing is that in reality...it is much more harder to stop...
i've been smoking for 16 years! ya...old mommy that I am...I've tried to stop 5 times I think, tried the patch, the replacement, discipline...it is still fucking hard to brake the habit.
I know I have to stop, I feel it...but damn it, each morning I get up I tell myself ok today is the day and then...I feel like smoking 10 cig...
I'm now thinking using hypthonist or pills....or stop drinking, partying and being around people who smoke for 6 months! lol...ya right!
I'm feeling a time of no time right now..
