But honestly, nothing will change the grief that family went through anyway. And I really trust it's better for everyone that the guys is getting sentenced for lifetime in an institution (come on, if he's really hearing the voices and so much into that stuff that he can decapipate a random dude in cold blood, he will NOT be declared sane overnight just because he starts taking a few pills ...) rather than a 25 year sentence that would allow him to obtain a hearing 5 years through and then send him back on the streets to cut on state expenses. |

If he wasn't responsible for his actions, and it seems he was obviously crazy, then theres nothing prison can do to rehabilitate him. Hes probably better off in a mental institution. I think the judge got it right. |
