problem with cdj-100s: the play button does not click and, with time it has become quite finicky... you have to push it at a precise point to get it to work otherwise it does not play or it will go directly into pause mode (like if you were to press on the button twice)

I'm wondering if there is any way to fix this, maybe by getting a replacement button or something... anyone know if its possible or if there is any other possible solution?

problem with djm-500: need to change 3 bass pots...

anyone know how much replacement pots cost and where i can get them?
I'm feeling lovely right now..

it's VERY Expensive especially if you go to MOOG's. i think they are one of the only "officel" repair shops for Pioneer gear. there are other electrician's that might be able to help too.

i sent in my DJM-500 a while back (when i still had it) and it cost me 250$ just to clean her up, fix some static issues and that was pretty much it.

loud buzzing... hmmm... open it up and check if all the capacitors are ok (you can tell if the top is flat, they're ok, if they're round, they're toasted).... especially around the power supply

there are always a bunch of capacitors on the circuit that are there to cancel out any interference from outside frequencies... if one of em is shot, the whole circuit board is acting as a bloody antennae... not exactly what you want
