 Coolness: 48555 | how the frak do I send invites to events usin this board? I cant post links to it in their profile comments... prolly too late anyhow cuz the party is tonight. oh well... good thing facebook is easy to use hahaha (never thought I'd be thankful for that shit!)

 Coolness: 2604035 | You can not invite people to public events because it's a public event. Anyone can look for it in the calendar.
This is so that this site does not become like facebook where people are invited to 20 events a day and don't give two shits about any of them. Invitations are good when it's things you will like. Inviting 40,000 people to your event is kind of stupid. That's what a public calendar of events is for. So you can look that shit up without having to be invited everywhere. You can invite people to private events though. Because it's a private event. You won't just invite the whole site to a private event. As for a FAQ, maybe if you gave me a budget of 125 million dollar like facebook has, I'd get someone to make a FAQ. As for now, it's only me coding the site, so you gotta live without the FAQ and it will work the way I think websites should work which is without mass invitations. |
