hey!
basic question: when i put up video on a website the image quality is great///it's look like on my edit monitor... but when i put it on youtube the image is really less great and it's make me sad. :( (bouhou) when i create a file "to share" in my editing program i always chose the mpeg4 option.. now i might try the mpeg optimizer which i never tried b4.. maybe i do something wrong?! any tips or advices on that? thanks a lot! :)

Youtube is like 320 x 200 or something... It's nicer at 640 x 480... Allok Video Converter or Allok Video To FLV converter seems to be a good program. Another one is this one although it's more complex.

The HD videos on youtube are only if they were HD before... So if they were not, don't expect to get HD...

i was about to make a video recording of multiple boot session, and i was expecting to record it around 800x600 or 1280x1024 expecting i could mixdown the whole thing to hd. do you know whats their hd size ? is it 1080 line or what ? Update » cutterhead wrote on Thu Feb 12, 2009 @ 9:47pm im shure there is some re-box softs ... even to the expense of seeing pixels.

Yeah, usually typing in fmt=18 or 22 gets you the best quality. It's sort of pointless now, since you can watch most videos in "High Quality" or HD at a click of a button.
