Depanneur Atm'S!

The step after that would be when the processor sends a message to the terminal that the funds have been released, and the transaction completed. If this message times out, then the terminal will print a "not completed" message (not to be confused with a declined message), but the funds have already been released.
I definitely wouldn't feel comfortable if I know I authorized a payment, and the connection between my bank and the merchant's wasn't closed. Update » the_big_jo wrote on Sat Feb 7, 2009 @ 2:27pm Currently the process is:
1.ATM says "transfer $ from this acct to this one" 2.Processor says to both involved banks "transfer $ from this acct to this one" 3.Banks reply to processor with a yes/no, and the funds are released 4.the connection between the banks and the processor is closed. 5.the processor says to the ATM "yes/no" 6.The ATM prints a receipt.
I'm feeling christmas cheer right now.. |

wouldn't it pretty much fix the problem to change it to
1.ATM says "transfer $ from this acct to this one" 2.Processor says to both involved banks "transfer $ from this acct to this one" 3.Banks reply to processor with a yes/no, waiting for acknowledgment 4.ATM acknowledges 5.the funds are released 6.the connection between the banks and the processor is closed. 7.The ATM prints a receipt. I mean, it's as simple as adding in a check that the ATM got the message before releasing the funds, rather than releasing them and then having it not care..

Because this exact type of error happens all the time, no matter which processor. And it's absolutely no indication that fraud was comitted. this is bullshit . why did the atm confirm the member PUNCHED 2 TIMES his PIN number . generating 2 different confirmation . the atm isnt compilent with the network Update » cutterhead wrote on Sat Feb 7, 2009 @ 4:52pm event a crc error doenst make a cross loop like that.
if you backtrack the code you should see that its way at the top of the loop somehow the machine generated a whole tree of desision without member confimation on the fact of a crc ? pfff Update » cutterhead wrote on Sat Feb 7, 2009 @ 4:55pm hey alex did you punch in at two different instance the ajmount you wanted to cash ? and confirm on 2 other instance your pin ? no hey . did the machine frooz ? no hey . Update » cutterhead wrote on Sat Feb 7, 2009 @ 4:56pm can you see the phone wire there that link the atm ?

hehe , probably you could start servicing them since whith what i previously saw posted : they arent doing a very good job coining CRC errors where there aren't.
just dont call from your house. Update » cutterhead wrote on Sun Feb 8, 2009 @ 11:09am see, aparent phone wire is against proper site setup if your anything concious about security.
next come reader mods. Update » cutterhead wrote on Sun Feb 8, 2009 @ 11:12am alex you never said, have your "invented this problem" by cashing it two time thinking it will be a fuss for them to sort at ?
or did it just plain ripped you out ? really not the best place to post it if you defrauded them but beside client fraud, this atm shows a clear tamper with it core functions.

guy, I'm really lost, they only have one line for their lottery machine and atm...some bitch was buying lotto's while I used their machine, and the transaction bounced...the clerk said "it's ok you can use it now" so I made a second withdrawal unknowing that I already got charged...had I known I would never have done it in the first place...now I have to wait for my fucking money.. |

Update » cutterhead wrote on Sun Feb 8, 2009 @ 2:21pm oh but you mean the VALIDATION machine, that is okay, but really you should report them, since i think their terminal is hacked, no way a human run POS can make that mistake withou having you conscioulsy make the transaction 2 times punching on two occasion the withdrawl amount and your pin, its also cleark responsability that machines set up on the phone line dont interfere with the service. Update » cutterhead wrote on Sun Feb 8, 2009 @ 2:24pm or the cleark made you beleive the transaction was rejected without giving you the recipt and you thought you made a PIN mistake : with is fraud.
but most time they will just record the transaction (for the pin) and the card (for yur info), then wait till your out , and playback the buffer for a quick transaction. not a crc but a grc error
