I feel techno is an evergrowing tree.

We should never forget, that deep underground.

The roots of our music have growned from other kinds.

Locking our mind into a single sound.

Closing yourself into a unique style.

Forgeting the roots and the rhythm of soundz..

..Tolerance,Freedom! are the essence of our music.

And we should never forget,
that deep underground.
The roots of techno,
have growned from other kindzzz.

The TECHNO familly will soon UNITE!!!!

P.S. the term "techno" include every style of elecktonik musik ;}
I'm feeling the wind of change right now..

And alex I haven't seen you at anEZBAKE since the first year mate. (still love that shooter pic btw).
I seem to remember some beef involving you and some thugs from the deej at an ezbake way back in the first season.

enfaite on devrais tous accepter les scenes des autres ainsi que leur participants. Surtout que toute les scene de musique electronique a mtl ont leur place sur [ RAVE.CA ] et quon devrais se concentrer sur nos similitude pas nos differents

I have been to EzBake since the first year, you just don't remember.
And the "thugs" you're talking about are from the graff [ circle...com ]
different people. And guess what buddy they we're galavating at your EzBake night
and they fuckin started with me! What was I gonna do let them steal my shit and fuckin
step all over me? I wasn't even drunk or anything, and I hope you can recall I didn't start
anything, it was all alcohol and coke fuled bullying that I fell victim to. I was there
to hang with YOU guys and I got fucked with by some dickheads. It was a little one sided
when you have 7 fuckers on 1 bro. But thanks for helping pull them off me, at least I know
you're a homie and you got my back.

Either way those are still "good times" to me, nothing can really phase me. I just don't
see there being more beef in the D'n'B circle.

the point is that someone asked you about throwing parties ("a real party")...it wasn't my question, 'm just saying that you didn't really answer him with your barrage of fliers.

and your small scene in small places is supposed to impress people? How can you say you're 'the shit' then admit that your 'scene' is all itty bitty? If you really did do a good job promoting breaks, and throwing nights, shouldn't you have a much bigger scene?

anyway, your selective understanding is overwhelming. whtvr.
I'm feeling you up right now..

mmmm,i'll go with bliss on this one N.A. IT's really difficult to do a huge breakbeat night. The next one will be planet break on january 7th.We tried at Vinyl with don't fake the breaks, even there,at the beginning ,it was jam packed and then nothing. The thing is,people doesn't really know what breakbeat is.They think i mix hip hop .I get a lot of comeback how come i don't mix Breakz, but electro .People are all confused.Well,I,m trying to let the younger one know what breakbeat really is.In uk,it'S playing in radio, here,le Neant! The picnik break was sick and it was the bigger break party ever in town i think. But montreal breakz scene is totally shitty compared ex to Toronto. I'm still hoping one day people will enjoy it as much as myself ! hihihi :))

VOila c'est ca qui est ca

if break's is having alot of trouble or if it's hard to gather alot of people, how come there's break's at events like Piknik ?? TONS of people come out for the headliners in the break's scene. maybe they should play psytrance at piknik insted as that scene is healthy. :)

If anyone's responsible for empty break nights it has to be Bliss himself. i mean, read his bio and you'll see he's the entire break's scene in montreal. After 10 years of promo the scene is still small (that's what you just said, right?).. maybe people just dont like him?? bad promo maybe??

Wait. So the breaks scene is having a hard time ?

I though thousands of people attended Bliss' nights and breaks was the second coming of Christ.

I thought the so-called "contributions to the breaks scene" made it so that it was literally exploding right now but erm... no ?

So wow, these contributions appear to have been pretty fruitful if it just serves a few hundred individuals.

Way to go, Tiesto.

I started Montreals first breaks weekly at Blizzarts, its ran for close to 5 years, brought in some of the biggest names in breaks for the first time. The night was well recongnized both locally and outside of Montreal

Thats my contribution. The scene is much bigger now then it was then so no complaints there :)

Played breaks at tons of bigger events over the years (Aria with Aquasky, Sona with Bambaataa, Pop Montreal with Rob G & Demonic, our breakbeat party at Carbaret with Jelo & Scissorkicks, Picnik 3 years in a row, etc...)

I never claimed anything else than that breaks wise.

You guys also forget "breaks" is just one style I became known for

I've been doing ELECTRO nights for over a decade, Chemistry (Montreal's original electro clubnight) and Voyeur.

I also just know a lot about music in general and am easily known as one of the most VERSITILE djs on the scene

Mainly I just rock a lot of parties playing a variety of beats and play for thousands and thousands of people every year (fact)

I don't see what else I could possibly do more as a dj and contribute to the music than to go out there and play every week!

I do my job and I do it well :)

Breaks is a very large term by the way. While the "nu skool" breaks scene hit its peak and somewhat lost popularity. Baltimore breaks have been huge for years (Peer Pressure play a lot of baltimore.

Booty Breaks is big in Montreal (Dj Assault and Dj Funk were here a few times)

Electro breaks are VERY popular

Funk made a huge comeback, tons of funk bands and shows in the last couple of years

BBoys breaks are still alive and kickin with the breakdancers

Etc...etc...

Breaks never die guys, they just multiply and they're everywhere :)
