I'm not sure about my grandparents on my mom's side.. I know my grandmother on that side is part french, and my grandfather is part italian/spanish (Goya is from my grandfather's side of the family, one of his sons (I think Xavier) stayed in Italy after Goya's exile from Spain was over) I was pretty much raised by my grandparents on my dad's side for a long time (my grandmother would babysit me rather than have them pawn me off on some strangers) and I'd spend at least a month every summer with my grandparents from my mom's side.. It's insane, I never realised (for some reason) that industrial was electronic music up untill I started making music and fucking around with synths... I always thought it was drummers and guitar/bass players with tons of effects on their instruments! |

hahaha i must agree je suis jamais allé en belgique encore, mais j'ai ma nationalité, et j'en suis très fière! toute la famille de ma mère vienne de là, y compris elle, qui est née à Tournai. Toute ma famille parle français mais leur première langue est le flamand. Une langue tellement fucker à entendre haha mon arrière grand père à fais la 2 ième guerre mondial, et j'y doit aujourd'hui mon menton! haha :D ahhhh |

| Coolness: 685670 | yeah I've never been there, but I'd really love to go.. It's crazy, though, even though I've never been there and was born/raised here in canada/quebec, I consider myself belgian before I consider myself canadian.
It's fucked up, my grandmother on my dad's side was in belgium durring WW2, and the one on my dad's side was in france at the time.. I know that on my dad's side I've got someone that came out of one of the concentration camps and was one of the first to write a book on what it was like.. Some really fucked up shit.. |
