Noah, how about changing the video section into streaming flash videos instead? It's a hassle to download vids in order to check them if you just wanna sample what's going on.

The quality of most of the videos are already so bad that changing them to flash just makes them unwatchable...

noah: Well hardly anyone uploads vids anymore. It would be a good way to get people interested in it again. Just archive the old ones in a section called "video archives" and implant the system for new vids

All the videos are being converted into flash right now... It will take a couple of days before they are all uploaded... The quality on some are not as good as the original, but they will play in your browser for sure. I was thinking of using super high quality but the videos were huge. I'll maybe try it out later for some of the better videos...
For people in the future I will convert the files into flash. I need a command line program to do it cause right now this one is GUI only.

So 15fps but superb quality...
Or 30fps and high quality... I'll run some tests and maybe re-upload everything at 30fps if needed...

Noah: standard video = 29,97(30)fps. Hollywood movies = 24fps. NEVER change the framerate of a video. It will just deteriorate the quality to a point where it's useless. Instead change the bitrate.
Usual compression used by video sites is h.264 Usual resize is 320x240.
