I'll try to be as honest and objective as I can: Intro, boring generic tech house track Bad eqing (too much bass) 1 minute into mix, cheesy female vocal kicks in. I think I'm in Laval Cheesy beat continues...waiting for next mix *Female orgasm sound* *Track turns really bad, think 99 cent record bin electro bside, my neighbor starts banging on the wall* *3 minutes into mix still no new track* 4:30 minutes into the mix, finally a transition...wow Uh oh TERRIBLE MIX...beats are off...even an overuse of eqs and effects can't save this one... Failed Ok, 7 minutes into mix, another botched mix, beats are all over the place. You bring in the song way too loud by the way, my ears hurt 8 minutes into mix...I can't listen to it anymore... Verdict: You fucking suck, I undertstand why you're called Dj Clown, your track selection is HORRIBLE and your mixing is fucking garbage. My mix owns this shit anyday. Update » Blisss wrote on Fri Aug 1, 2008 @ 11:34pm Oh man...It really is fucking bad, I can't believe I even fucking wasted my time on this shit |

you didn't review my mix, you just commented on the tracks i have in the track list. I don't produce the track's i mix (yet) so if a track has too much bass, it was meant to be that way. BTW, I'll forward your review to the FM RADIO GODS them self. I'm sure you've heard of them before, there from Montreal.. you know Tao Nhan?? well, you bashed the fuck out of his track (I'm sure he'll be pleased to know his productions are worth 0.99$'s to you)
btw, it's a mix, not a race and there isn't a rush to shove 100 tracks into 30 minutes. if you choose tracks that need to be bumped out after the first 1:40 that's your problem. It's a shame you didn't make it past the first mix though.. at least you caught when the first mix was (4:30), but the second mix you state at 7 mins is still the first mix dick head couldn't you tell be the bassline (which has too much bass for you) kept coming back ?. i do agree it wasn't tight for the entire 3 minute mix. it's hard to maintain good flow during long mixes. i'll be sure to work on that in the future (ohh wait, i did later in that set, you probably got offended after hearing the second mix and refused to put any good comments in there that might make you look "second place" stylez. i understand though, so don't worry. All the renovation's you did at your place above all the doors in to make sure your inflated head get's through easly must have been expensive so i understand again, that you'd want to keep that head of your's as big as possible. I hope you feel better about yourself now knowing that you can find DJ's as bad as you if you want. there are many more out there, just listen for more than 8 minutes next time.
I'm feeling hot n spicy right now.. |

If you are going to review a mix, at least do it properly. Here, let me review it for you .
- first mix start's at 4:00, it's a little bumpy but quickly recovered. second track come's in a little strong due to the breakdown in the first track but come's back about 12 seconds later with the bassline of the first track still very present. couple of adjustments made to keep mixes together without too much notice (but still noticeable at times). At 6 minutes, into the mix the second track starts taking place and become the primary track. At 6:40, the first track obviously come's back for it's dying 20 seconds until the second track take's over again. That transition wasn't too clean i have to admit. @ 7:55 into the mix, finally the first track disappears completely and shorly after that the second track falls into a breakdown. - third track starts around 10:35ish and kicks in pretty quickly but unless you know both tracks, it's hard to tell that it's a new track. This mix wasn’t nearly as long as the previous mix, nor did it have to be. - 14:50, hear subtle new sounds, possibly a mix, a quick offbeat happens but is recovered without using Fx’s. 15:38, new track kick’s in pretty strong as both track’s blend. Around 16:34, end of mix and last sign of previous track. - At 20 minutes, another transition starts (hard to tell as the power of the out-coming track is very strong and present). 20:45, in-coming track’s bassline kick’s in over the exiting track. Dj goes back and forth between both track’s basslines a couple of times at appropriate timeframes. 21:40, in-coming track starts to take all the room. 22:00, end of that mix. - 26:15, you can hear the high’s of the new track coming in as, slowly, it starts to take form. I particularly like this transition a lot as it’s very hard to tell there was a mix. 27 mins, tracks breakdown together and mix ends around 27:25 as in-coming track builds back up and kicks in. - 31:14, during the breakdown, you can hear the high’s of the upcoming track. When it start’s up again, the hat’s of new track are still present and are now primary groove over the out-coming track. 32:35 is when the new track kick’s in at high level’s. 33:04, mix ends. - 37:00, new mix starts off ( I think, it’s hard to tell). 37:19, you can hear more of incoming track. 37:49, both track’s breakdown together and kick up again at 38:07 but with a lot less of of out-coming track as it fade’s away since it was the end of the track. - 42:29, still no new track since 38:07.. Weird, I though tracks were only suppose to last 90 seconds….. - 42:42, ohh here it is, I was getting worried that we might have ended up hearing the entire track in this set, fiew.. 43:35, new track starts taking it’s place. 43:57, mix ends. - 47:00, still no new mix.. ahh ohh, sign’s of another long track, damn those techno artists making 7 minute tracks. *rolls eyes* - 48: 15, new mix starts and is off-beat for two kicks before recovery. 48:48, in-coming track’s bassline takes control but outcoming track is still very present. 49:46, close to end of mix as you can hear old track slowly fading away as new track progresses. - 53:24, the final mix starts as high’s come in over track. A little bumpyness for about 3 seconds but, again, quickly recovered. 54:28, mix ends during a breakdown and final track kick’s back in full throttle. This mix was a little sloppier than many of the other transitions. Please, feel free to review your own mix and state start and end time of your mixes so we can identify where and when they happen if you feel the need to compete at something again…
I'm feeling rewire 3.5 !! right now.. |

A Clown mix? With "bumpy" used as a word to describe a couple of transitions? Is that code for when he did copious amounts of vitamin K durring the mix?
