The fact that people kill with cars isn't even a proper comparison: one is a drunk man using a tool incorrectly; one is a sober man washing a tool. If both were drunk okay. Otherwise, unsafe balconies would also be a good comparison :D Stuff kills, yes. But it takes a special idiot to clean a loaded pistol with his wife present, while being SOBER.  Coolness: 685690 | I would imagine that a RESPONSIBLE person would check his gun to make sure it wasn't loaded before cleaning it. Wether you're sober or not while cleaning said gun, cleaning a gun without checking if it's loaded is as irresponsible as getting behind the wheel of a car drunk, or being a sober driver and speeding while talking on a cellphone.
The state of innebriation was only one possible example. You don't have to be drunk to be an irresponsible driver and kill people. |

Cars have many purposes, mainly, transportation. Cars *can* kill, but that is not what cars are intended for. Guns are only meant for killing. Responsibility doesn't change this. Don't bother bringing up plinking, since they make up a tiny minority of gun owners. Most people own guns cause they have some delusion that it will either make them more safe or more cool. The feeling of having a gun in your hand makes you feel like a big man, which just shows how small you really are. |

His license should be revoked immediately. They are too many irresponsible people out there who shouldn't be owning firearms. An uneducated person with heat is a walking time bomb. An person with an ideology and heat, that's just cause too many strife. A firearm is a killing tool, there's no doubt about it. However a huge factor that should be considered is the society's culture. |
