Saturday March 22, 2008 - 7:16 AMok so I was supposed to play this party at 6 am I lugged my records all over fucking town and because I went in the corner and rested for a bit before my set ... and showed up at the decks 15 minutes before my set mind you, I was told that I wasn't spinning anymore because I passed out deal with a pro you fucking goofs it does not matter what I do before my set it just matters that I am there on time and that I play well. I was totally rejuvenated and ready to play some fucking killer tunes 15 minutes before my set so fuck you Montreal I don;t like your dshitty dj's that can;t mix and I don;t like your goofy fucking losers that think they are to cool to deal with a pro you should see what I've had to deal with from headliners at paid gigs seriously not fucking cool I will be punching out a bunch of people in this town I can feel it already Don;t ask me to hook up gigs here I am not doing anything with jungle in this town NOW GET THA GUYS REKKIDS BACK WHOEVER AND MONTREAL SHOW HIM SOME RESPECT damm people here and the scene come of fucking rude for people from outertown seriously .... fucking farmers |

jungle is dead? how so? I've gotten loads of gigs in Toronto and here playing nothing but jungle - I think demanding that someone return these records is completely ridiculous. who knows where they were even lost/misplaced/whatever? it's basically accusing some unnamed person who was at 1619 of theft when I did my inventory of my collection, there was about 15 really valuable records missing. I may have left some of them at a gig, or they may have been lifted by some undesirable guest at some point over the last couple years. I don't know, and I don't care. I chalk it up to my own carelessness. if you want to be thought of as a professional, play the role. slandering Montreal, and making threats about "punching people out" is not the way to do it. I also do not agree with Ruuna deflecting blame using an outside conversation. That's weak IMHO. I don't find it fair or relevant that someone comes up to you and points an accusatory finger and your only argument is a swift kick in the nuts. Now Efes looks like a hater but, erm, you're still not off the hook I'm afraid. Regardless, people should at least TRY to contain their fucking emotions. It makes us look emo and shit, in a " LEAVE MY VINYL CASE ALOOOOOOOONE " kind of way. I've always had a metal vinyl carrying case for my plates. One that I can LOCK. I suggest every DJ invest in that shit as well if you want piece of mind when you pass out at parties. |
