Yes, Pendulame have done it once again, this time they bring it
so the 7 year olds can get down. Sounds like something that would
play on repeat at Canada's Wonderland. Anyways, I'm posting a link
to the torrent file for the full album in 192kpbs so you can have
a listen to the worst break beat album of all time before it's even out.
these guys have gotten so cocky about their career that they deserve to fail,
and the proof is in this shit album. When I downloaded it and put it in my
Itunes, the genre already said "SHIT", not my doing. Infact I think my
computer is sick from playing this garbage for more than 4 minutes.

WARNING: Barf bags not included!

hahahahahaha I was just talking about it..

It's fucking garbage like I can't believe. That review of the single, Propane Nightmares, really nailed it:

2008: the year that D'n'B finally breaks according to Warners' press chat. Odd really, seeing as we thought Goldie did that in 1995 and this is the very same Pendulum whose last hit single Granite thudded into the Top 30 (No 29) like a sack of empty crisp packets. Frankly Propane's anything but a gas; it's music for people who like trying to dance like Pinocchio licking his knees. Needless to say, we've tried said moves (they hurt) and even Nickelback sounds better than this plague on our 'lobes.

and here's a direct quote from Rob:

"the only comments i don't get are the ones saying "we've sold out....I'm not sure if drum and bass is dead or dying (i've been in the studio / on tour too long to tell) - however, if your genre was flimsy enough to be knocked over by ONE SINGLE RECORDING ARTIST who happened to - god forbid - sell some fucking records for the first time in about 5/6 years, then i'm glad it was us that got to drive the final stake through its stale pig shit heart - and good riddance. wake me up when your genre is making something that people outside the scene think is worth listening to again."
I'm feeling useless right now..

aaaargh !! now i know what was this crappy tune Chase(&Status) dropped at the very end of his set 2 days ago... he reloaded it at least 3 times, it was really freaky and with my friends we were all like "what's this horrible emo tune and where is it from and why the fuck is he playing it on and on for over 10 minutes ?!?!!? let's go have some fresh air outside before we die in here !!"

this tune is indeed "propane nightmare" !!

damn... how i loved early pendulum... another great artist/band whose soul has been eaten by universal !
I'm feeling phd powa !!! right now..

yeah, I can't believe that they're the same people that put out Vault, Another Planet, Spiral, Ulterior Motives, Voyager.. man they fucking took a nose dive in quality once they left BBK.

Appearantly they wanted millions from BBK for a shitty mix they put out for them, and tried to take them to court.
A small label like BBK getting sued for millions by some little piss ant aussie Dnb/Breaks producers, fuck that...if I were
Fresh I would have taken it to the streets, 3 on 1, right in front of Black Market Records with the Fat guy from the 'SLAM' video reffing.

It's not that, it's that the mix they did was something for fun that they never OK'd to release. The CD was pressed from a 128k mp3 and had some tunes (like the Massochist VIP) that weren't finished and they didn't want released in any form so that they'd have something to keep for themselves to play.. Fresh was totally in the wrong on that one.

I have this glorified sound about Pendulum and I'm deathly afraid of listening to that thinking this is the future of the group, one that pretty much kicked in the crotch a few years back because of all the tracks Screwhead mentioned.

I wasn't expecting anything as godly as Hold Your Colour, mind you, but to go from " THIS good " to " why do you refuse to feel embarassed ? " is too much for my own fragile D&B heart.

I wish I could still find the original post on Dogs on Acid, but after they left BBK and were looking for a lable, Warner came to them and said that they'd take them on the condition that they would make their music more accesible to emo teenagers. If they did that, they'd get put on every teen-marketed movie soundtrack that they were producing.

Pretty much, they're sucking the money-cock.

They think they're the only noteworthy artists to come from DNB and actually
make something happen, but once again...they already tried that with Goldie.
remember when they made him a villain in a James Bond movie?

Real sad state of affaires over in England.

Fuck no.

As much as I like cash, I fell in love way before I learned the value of cash.

Considering the incredible amount of exposure they got, it's an awesome trump card to use when you're looking for another label.

I'd look around and find one that will respect my music for what it is. Even if I get less money with a smaller label, I would refuse to loose most creative output on what I do.

They went to Warner, they said " let us dry rape your asses " and they just bent down like the good bitches they are.

Integrity as an artist & recognition as D&B pioneers = a big fat 0
