| Coolness: 37790 | Making money means more people have to give us money. I do this because it's something I'm passionate about, as much for the music, as the scene and the people. I have no intentions of attempting to make myself some money while making other people pay me more than they'd otherwise need to. If I walk away broke even and managed to throw an awesome event than I've done what I set out to do.
It's not like this is my source of income or my career goal. |

| Coolness: 37790 | I fail to see a downside, or how anyone can really suffer from that? Like it or not there's a cap on how much most people are willing to pay to go to an event, past that point you start losing people (supply vs. demand). Finding that point, and delivering an event that aims at using all the funds you can safely expect to pull in at whatever that cost is doesn't harm anyone. The event is literally 100% of what it could potentially be, and people attending don't feel like they're being robbed.
If I was aiming to make money those events would have to be the same price, but deliver a lower quality. |
