First, the problem went away by itself, so you could have let this thread die Second, I have an english keyboard. It doesnt have the accent aigue. But when I was pressing the "/" button, and accent eigue came up instead. When i pressed shift + / a capital accent aigue came up instead. |

| Coolness: 88615 | Erm, you didnt read did you? If the "/" becomes "é" and shift + "/" becomes "É" then you ARE in Canadian Multi-Language. Hit Alt+Shift and it will change to English.
If THAT doesnt work and you still have "é" and "É" it means you only have that layout set up. In that layout shift+6 = ?. |

 Coolness: 158210 | Even if you have an English keyboard, you had the French setting for it (which explains the é). Stril_IX is right; alt-shift usually goes between one language setting to the other (hint: you can have as many as you want set up). |

When i pressed shift + / a capital accent aigue came up instead. this is a very common problem with windows... and the problem will most likely come back if you don't go buy and french keyboard to reverse the polarity. if your on a mac the best way to fix this problem would be to restore your language settings to default by throwing your system folder in the trash. hope that helps!!! |
