I know at least one person that would kill you NOT to have skidmarks in your...erm...shared underwear.

But really, thanks for asking this question Murdock Rock, I was asking myself that very same question for a few months. The choice is pretty damn clear now.

How much does a standard *NEW* CDJ-800 go for in Montreal though ?
I'm feeling none of your bizness right now..

Hmmmm. Ok so for about 900$ I can choose between 1. a Pioneer CDJ-800 or 2. a pair of smelly underpants.

Those underpants better be solid gold and diamond incrusted.

Well then I recommend using that 900$ to buy a really good washing machine.

Another advantage of CDJ's is most clubs and some parties already have them so you might not have to bring any hardware at all, just your CDs.

the one thing about cdjs i hate is cueing...
i never had one at home, to fool around with and actually learn, so when a track i have on cd doesnt start at 00:01 or wtv, i find it really annoying to kinda, pause, or push play early so it syncs up...etc etc

but then again, this is with the older models, or more basic models without the "scratch" option
the pioneers are wikid.

i think its definately handy to have one.

i do however prefer the mixing style of serato. since you use the actual turntable skillz to mix. much more free and at ease.

if i were you, i'd look for a used cdj. and let me borrow it sumtimes haha!
I'm feeling your nuts right now..

the cdjs are solid as hell. I have a pair of 100s which I've put threw hell and back and they still work. I mix on the 800s too like once a week at school. I like them a lot. They have the vinyl feature on them, which means your cueing and scratching like it were real vinyl and the feel is nice.

and I bid 950$ for the underwear.
I'm feeling wtf charles? right now..
