The Venue Problem

If we dont find solutions, the winter is gonna be very llllooonnngg for our rave scene and im sure you know what I mean. The cyberloft is fun but it have 2 problems with this place: HEAT and humidity, I like the place but it cant host medium or large event. It have also the Theatre sans fils but its too expensive for the majority of promoters. So I think we should give ourself a kick in the ass to find some places and do something. In resume... Need people to search in Montreal for venues, who's in? I think we have good chances to find some in the old industrial area |

Sorry.. fucked up. I meant to say if the Usine C rents out. Ya they rent the place, a part of the Mutek festival was there this year. But I dont know if they rent all night. i have a suggestion for anyone who wants to take the time and make the effort to do it, why not call the Rialto theater up on Park ave, they have rented themselves out atleast a couple of times in the last 5 years, i have heard however that they can be a little hard to deal with because everything has to be perfect or they wont do it... worth a try. |
