2 things i need help with some info and advice or tips.

First, is there any amazing place to go hiking ( for beginners ) close by. 2 hours drive max.

-----------

Second, anyone have knowledge of techniques to PASS a polygraph test? I wiki it and all i got was..

"Get a good night's sleep, and rest, and go into the test rested and relaxed. Be nice to the polygraph examiner, develop a rapport, and be cooperative and try to maintain your calm. "

.....there has to be something else. The polygraph examiners are the RCMP so no bullshitting around.
y'all bunch of liars and miscreants, so one of you must know something =). Before July 18th if possible.

You gotta be calm as hell and controll your heart rate and breathing, which is really hard to do if you're nervous.

Or, you could drink a bunch of coffee and really work up your heart rate and make it hard for them to distinguish lies from how you are regularly.

Okay just checking if you guys were gullible.
Seriously, my friend is joining the RCMP , and the polygraph test is the final stage in the application process.
It included couple of interviews and filling out application forms where at one point you had to fill out this really loooong questionnaire with questions like:

- have you ever bought drugs?
- have you ever bought drugs illegally ?
- have you ever sold drugs ?
- have you ever cheated on a school test?

etcc.. i forgot the rest, it isn't just about drugs, it's everything. but y'all get the idea.
So i think it will be the same with the polygraph test, just shorter. Then finally, i guess the RCMP will review his candidacy.

The criticism with the polygraph test is that even when you don't lie, it can still fail you.
It's not proven to be an effective way to determine someone honesty. It is also why you can't convict someone in a court of law based sorely on a polygraph test.

Thank you Danny Ocean !!!

for the hiking question..not so far from mtl there's the mont saint-hilaire.

if ever you like this kind of stuff i suggest you the best of quebec: the mon-h.a.m.
it's stand for Highest Apalachian Mountain.. well in quebec side!!!

it's near saint-adrien and the famous saint-fortunat village. alots of artist live there. check the schedule sometimes some show at the bar are worth it!

but yeah the mountain there is the most beautifull. on some good day, very sunny with some cloud...you can stand up the cloud it's wonderfull view.. i was bringing my music player there and mini speaker... but hey don't drink to much up there because it's can be pretty hardcore hehe but it's ok if you are not expert..it's not that dangerous...
but don't trust bear.

anyway.. alots of fun i have there over the years. we had a house there before.\\

* Six trails totalling 16 km are easy to intermediate and offer short to long hikes. The peak is 713 metres (2,339 feet)..
I'm feeling hitched right now..

Here's an idea for the polygraph test... What's the stuff called, Ativan? Relieves stress like you wouldn't believe, and makes you a lot less nervous about things, so if he had to lie, it would be a lot less anxiety-inducing.

Of course, if he needs to take a piss-test before or after...

I know some people who are going into the law field, and none of them ever did drugs...

But seriously, it would be better if the guy was honest. They are probably looking more for honesty than for whether someone inhaled marijuana before. If you friend is going to be lying on an application test, they should NEVER be a part of the RCMP, in my opinion.
I'm feeling gangsta right now..
