La musique était écoeurante! Hardtech and frenchchore and acidtech make me happy! J'ai vraiment trippé sur le live de LowTek/Jensen. High velocity! ^__^ Et juste avant, y'en avait un des deux qui a spinné du acidtech... Ce qui fait que j'ai dansé nonstop pendant au moins 1h30 (et que j'avais dansé avant déjà tsé), et que je suis présentement morte. There I was in hyperspace... ^__^ Mais tout les sets/live que j'ai entendus étaient bons :) The Horrorist était trop cool, mais j'ai pas aimé toute ses tounes (y'en avait qui sonnaient trop gabber à mon goût, et erm, j'aime pas les vocals de a night in NYC lol -__-; ). Mais c'est juste question de goût personnel, je reconnais qu'il a fait un live écoeurant! La terrasse au 3e était cool aussi, mais les tables skippaient car trop de monde proche et/ou le son d'en bas faisait vibrer le plancher de la terrasse. Pis le monde était vraiment cool aussi, ils avaient pas l'air trop trauma de voir des ravers au Loft lol. Et les afterpartys étaient le fun :) Merci de nous avoir recueillis jusqu'à ce que les métros repartent :) (and w00t new poi move learned!) so yah, that's it for the moment... |

A first at Le Loft for me. Screwhead> always the best mix of tracks for whatever atmos. Sarcastic> catched only the end of your set but good as always. Clown> it's been years and i am glad i got to hear you mix again man. Fishead> it's the second time that i heard you play but it was just as great. Na> amazing from start to end. and i got stuck in that room after that going to Satronika and Lenny Dee didn't have so much fun in a long time. and for the last part The Horrorist and Acrosome>  loved it.
Thanks to all the promoters involved for the great night. 9pm to 3am long enough i think, especially when all your body gets is booz for 6 hours.
As for the rest i'll let others do the review i missed all your slots. If this becomes a yearly (or maybe a more often) event it would be great. |

 Coolness: 166535 | Holy shit, what a night that was...I can't believe it actually happened! Whodda thunk it? 10 of our 12 artists made it across all the various borders to feed our ears with a crazy variety of techno (mostly the hard kind) and our locals were all up to par. The live sets were incredible (Lowtek v. Jensen!!!), plus Merk and the Massacre ( ans Tense behind the decks) reminded MTL what speedcore is all about...
The only thing I have to apologize about were the fucking skipping tables, so the Loft was a great venue and the management and staff were super nice and respectful, but their turntables and needles blow...did what we could under the circumstances...and for the terrasse, the setup was not as originally planned 'cause we were afraid it was going to rain, and I was told that no dancing was allowed, so I did not take the vibrations into consideration. So, sorry to Tipsy T and sickness who had to deal with that outside (but you know i did what i could to find solutions!) All in all, a wicked night, the kind of rare night that brought a lot of people together, and the hard work was well worth it. Congratulations to Genevieve and Matt, hope they have a long loving life together, and of course, thank you so much, the both of you, for coming up with the plan, the line-up, and having the generosity of giving this event to Montreal. Lastly, a huge thank you to Richard and Guillaume...and all the others who helped out (you know who you are!) Hey, Montreal, you guys are fucked! Keep on rockin' in the free world...
