| Coolness: 265930 | face it, you need the system to live just as much the system needs you to continue its existence. You're not a self-sufficient person, you just admitted to that yourself. Eliminating everyone who's currently using the system the same way you are would be the only way to actually push the whole thing in a new (better or worse) direction.
Besides, regardless of whether or not you're working a legit job, you've incorporated the founding principles of so-called System to your daily life: you provide a service in exchange of goods. So don't come around here walking all tall and mighty as if you're some sort of iconoclast holding the meaning of life and all its secrets. Despite your slightly different lifestyle and lower monthly dues (cause of course, thats what it comes down to in the end, right?) you really aren't much of a nonconformist or even a hermit at that... Explain to me how being on ravewave everyday consists of cutting yourself off from society? I'd like to add that this system you seem to be so angry with despite its ability to keep you well-fed and content, has helped provide every single one of us with a good education and an accessible health care system. And I'm sure everyone, at least once in their lives, will find themselves in dire straits and seek help from the State. Yet you can't possibly expect to have everything handed to you on a silver platter and think that you can take the easy way out. NO it isn't a perfect system... Can't have the good without the bad, yin and yang, I'm sure we've all had first-hand experiences with all of that. Like Sophia said: we ARE-- pardon me, WE are the system ( :P ). If you want to live outside of it, be my guest, hat's off to you... But to criticize and to insult us the way you are doing is completely uncalled for.. Especially after you manage to put your foot in your mouth by completely contradicting yourself (i'm not a slave to society yet i live off of taxpayers). I've never spoken to you personally yet you've already managed to lose a lot of credibility in my book. Get off your high chair... Quit being a hypocrite, a liar and a leech. If you're so indignified at what's going on in our society, seriously, why the fuck aren't you trying to do something about it instead of letting yourself believe you're some sort of renegade?? In the end, you'll find the only person you're cheating is yourself. ---- On a side note, trying to lower someone's esteem by attacking their intelligence is really a low blow, guys.
