| fuck...i just saw this thread now. better late than never i guess....i caight the whole 2nd set from one of the tv-loges. crisp clear sound and rockin performance. the guy who was replacing dave gilmour was good , although, in some solos you could hear that it wasnt gilmour...didnt have that certain something that gilmour infuses into his solos. i thought it was really cool that roger waters, when they played time, made the tick-tocking sound of the clock by muting his bass at the body and tapping the strings....he also made some lucky bastards dream come true..this guy was sitting in the 1st row waving his vinyl copies of the wall and dark side of the moon the whole show, and right before they played the encores, waters got right down there, got the guys albums, signed them both and returned them to him. too cool. |

| yeah i was really surprised that he made those sounds with his bass. i was always wondering how they did that back in the days. and yeah i saw him signing the vinyls :)
this guy is like 62 now i guess but still rock like a kid. props |
