 Coolness: 75655 | hardtech is an abbreviation of hard techno... generally refers to harder, tracky techno (The Advent, Speedy J, Adam Beyer... the bangin' stuff)...
hardtek comes from the freetekno scene... the sound is heavily influenced by the like of Spiral Tribe (esp. R-Zac 23)... it's faster (generally 155-180) and has a different rhythmic structure and soundset... kick drums tend to be a lot cleaner sounding and the lowend is based more around basslines than pounding drums. |

| Coolness: 75655 | 94-96 was a pretty peak period, and while it seems inviting to revisit it now - it ends up being out of context... and once you recontextualize something - you end up with something completely different (ie: the 80s revival is substantially different than what was actually going on). Nostalgia is a weird thing. I think it's best to pay tribute to the past with an ear towards the future. As such, there are a lot of older records that get cycled in and out of my crate... but the way I use them now is vastly different from how I would have played them 10-12 years ago. In a sense they've become reference material... you borrow phrases and samples and juxtapose them with current sounds to showcase the forward-thinking nature of tracks that were ahead of their time - or to show a progression from influence to influenced. |

J'espère que tu vas te sentir mieu!!!! Amène tout ce dont tu vas avoir besoin! Nous on fourni rien, juste le bon son!!! Un bon manteau est conseiller, puisqu'apres quelques heures dehors sans endroit où se réchauffer, il commence a faire froid. L'eau bien sur, amènes en en masse parce qu'y'a pas de robinet pour remplir la bouteille quand elle est fini. Aussi si y'a du monde qui veulent amener des ptits coussins ou des chaises pliante, c'est une bonne idée parce que le sol est froid et rocailleux. Sinon le sourir et l'esprit ouvert est fortement conseillé!!!! See you there wankers!!! |
