Sorry but this thread is pathetic... You can't even come up with your own excuses for skipping work? If I knew where you worked I might report your lack of professionalism simply on principal. Honestly, if you don't like your job then you should just quit and find something else. What you are doing is you're causing people to depend on you and then burden your colleagues by not showing up, consequently directly increasing their workload to compensate for your absence. Way to inconsiderable (and selfishly) abuse the system...

Listen,...The way I see it you should only apply for a job if you're willing to make a commitment to it. A business only succeeds because every employee working there knows that he or she is part of a whole, a team that requires a communal effort from all participants who, normally, have a specific task that makes their position unique. Contrary to popular belief, a reliable staff is the most important resource that any business has to offer,...more important that the products & services being offered, the manufacturing costs involved in the production, the marketing techniques used for distribution, or the cost to the consumer. Once employees begin to operate at sub-par levels everything else is directly affected by it and unless you work in a hgihly specialized field you should acknowsledge that any employer will see you as expendable should you not meet up to their expectations. Personally I like to maintain a flawless reliability reputation which is why I only take a sick day if I need to be hospitalized. There's no cough, headache, stomach ache, or negligible illness on this planet that would lower my productivity and cause me to stay home... Obviously we're only human and we should expect to get sick at some point but to use the privilidge of taking sick days half-hazardly sends a message of apathy and disrespect to the emplorer.

A friend called on a mother's friend who's a doctor, to give him a three week "congé de travail" for a fucked up arm. He showed up with a fake brace to give the ticket at work. His job pays and all, but the reason why he didn't want to work is that he's going back to school in Sept. and would only have shitty shifts until then since one of the new guys quit, and he would've had to fill in. Now that he's calling in sick for three weeks, it's up to his friend to fill in for the shitty shift on top of what the usual work load should be. These guys are good friends, but alas, Alex, friend who has to cover, has not gotten respect for his lack of professionnalism over the past 3 years at this job. So he shuts the fuck up even if hi knows about the hoax.

Friend A is going Wake boarding and golfing everyday for the next 3 weeks, while alex is overlaoded in shit.
But in another way of seeing things. The business will not be able to fill in the clientele's need because of understaffing, which has always been the case at that place. They overwork their employees and don't hire cause that would mean one more syndicated employee. Alex is going to be working alone to do the job of 3 persons, but they still won'T hire, cause slow season is coming along.
I'm feeling cracktastic right now..

Oh gawd...That 8 year old propoganda photo is such bullshit.
That other guy was someone from my high school named Nick and obviously he was too drunk to realize what the consequences of passing out near me would be. Someday I'm definitely gonna get even with the person who took that photo.
