Education toys that help children develop motor skills and increase intelligence are the best in my opinion (ie: The Rubix Cube) or Lego which forces a child to be creative and constructive at the same time. The worst toys are games like 'Guess Who' which does nothing more than perpetuate ethnocentricity in our already superficial society by conditioning children to discriminate and classify people at a young age based on their appearence. As a Child I never realized this but as I grew older I began to acknowledge the negative moral teachings behind some of my favorite strategic board games which included games that condition greed (ie: Monopoly) or even worse, games that promote war and condition people into believing that violence for the purposes of achieving power is perfectly acceptable (ie: Risk, Axis & Allies, etc). I was even given a small roulette wheel as a child which may have helped me understand statistical probability and centrifical force but at the same time helped me develop a conditioned desire to gamble at a young age which I can't say is ever a good thing for a person to develop at any age... Eventhough I still play some of the above mentioned games periodically (as well as others which may provide mental conditioning to the ignorant), I prefer playing games like chess, go, and backgammon which teach balance and forsight...

I've still got my Sega Master System collecting dust at home,... That thing was great cause even if you dont have any games theres a maze game built into the console itself... ahhh the ol'school days,... R-Type was definitely one of my favorites on that system

i love how at parties sometimes if the promoters are stylish mofos (cough cough*) they'll put some ol'school shit like original nintendo or orginal sega in a chill area, dope shit man...I one time put zelda and another time double dragon, at one of the cloud parties (cloud 2 if my memory serves me right) Kirk 6 put mario brother 2. Other people should do this it's fun and adds elements of nostalgia and kitch...
I'm feeling surly right now..
