Eclipse never fails to amaze me with it's... everything. I am proud to have been able to share such an experience with all of you and am sad that it's already over. The beauty of nature, good vibes and powerful music were combined in the best possible way. Thank you Tech Safari.
I'm feeling crunked right now..

the party was awesome, the music was also way better than last year (Wizzy Noise & Wrecked Machines Surprised me !!), the only thing that really bottered me is that there was no free water left on saturday night.. the deco was superb, the fire show during the night was really impressive... in fact the best party of the year again !! see ya at the next amazone !!

On friday I found the music was better, but I feel that on friday the djs who played (who were mostly all locals) played the tracks that were proven to work. The djs who played on saturday mostly played more experimental stuff which was not proved to be popular or whatever yet. Personally oppinion though.

On saturday there was very little beat to dance to until about 12:30am in which point the BPM started to pickup a little. On friday when I arrived at about 11pm, the music was already at a dancable speed.

Whatever the case, both nights were really good, and almost everyone was having a great time. I made a big fire on saturday since I was not much in the mood to dance and people didn't really know how to make a nice big fire. I think security at one point were worried about the fire but whatever.

You could not make a fire anywhere, you could only make them at "community" fire sites. I found this a little wierd but alright.

The food was alright but a little cheap. I got a souvlaki, and they ran out of tomatoes and onions, so it was a 5$ stick with a pita. I didn't have sause on it at first so I had to ask for the sause. I'm sure someone could have gone to the store to pickup some vegtables when they were running out. There was a village not to far away, and lots of places to buy vegtables which I saw on the way up. Anyways my fault for not bringing enough food or a can opener.

There was a water pump near the lake you could use to fill your water bottles up for free and if you didn't want water, they ere giving out free chai tea, I liked that. But for most people who didn't know there was a pump sucked they could not get water.

The sound was great, people great, once again great event which was almost flawless... I hope someone who got to take pictures from the stage can upload them! They didn't seem to want anyone on the stage this year to take photos. No clue why not, since the best photos are always taken from up there.

Once again this year, the best set IMO goes to Rickam. I guess I just like the style of the tracks you play. You should have played on Saturday and not Friday.
I'm feeling recuperated right now..

The decoration was an acid head's dream... trust me I know.
The music was Top the whole party; the dance floor was nearly full the entire time!
The beach was smaller this year but just as refreshing.
The weather was completely satisfactory, the cold Saturday night was actually perfect to offset how hot dancing makes you. The humidity was intense but overall didn't affect me that much so no complaints there either.
Even the toilets were relatively clean!
The only thing that kind of bothered me was the unanounced 5$ for parking. No, 5$ isn't a lot of money but add that to gas and the ticket and this rave costs a minimum of 120$. Tech Safari, I could be wrong, but you can do better than that considering not all of us have hundreds of dollars lying around.
Food, water and extras brought the cost of the journey to well over 200$, and that is expensive for one weekend.
And you know it was a good party when cost is the only complaint I have, to be honest I didn't notice there being a problem with the sound system like others have mentioned. Luckily the rave was indeed worth the money and then some. Much love to the Dj's, the organizers, the sun, the moon and the stars. Oh and the party people, I hope to see you all next year or sooner!
peace

It was magical...exactly what I was expecting.
The music on friday was great!
On saturday I danced until the beginning of Edoardo, after that, the vibe got very dark and intense, it wasnt really my style.
My favorite set were FM radio gods and Tenzin, very groovy with a minimal touch, I really liked that.
But after that I wasnt really in the mood for what was playing.

The setup was amazing, the decoration was beautiful and the sound system was just perfect...the sound system seemed to have some issue after a while on saturday though...maybe the speakers were getting tired..

But it was a great party!
I'm feeling hangover right now..

This was my first year, and I had the greatest fuckin time of my life! I should have brought something to do during saturday afternoon, I'm at fault there, I need better planning skill. It was so hot and the water was freezing, it was a good mix. Saturday night was just crazy, music was excellent! Kudos to Shankar. I liked the fact you couldnt make fires anywhere because it forced people to gather around the fire and meet each other. I cant get Blue Monday out of my head! The video on the Eclipse website was the last thing I saw before leaving my house, and the last thing I heard when I left Eclipse on sunday. Everbody was so friendly, no one got in a fight (at least none that i saw, other than those wicked fire shows)Oh wait! I saw someone get in a fight with one of cigarette-butt can things, but i guess the can was asking for it from what I was hearing. Anyone who was considering going but missed out, make sure you dont miss it next year. Pricy, but worth it!
I'm feeling exausted right now..

The party was ridiculously great, the weather was perfect, I find that the 10 minutes of rain on saturday even helped cool us off.

The beach was chill, but slightly packed on saturday, still refreshing.

I'm not sure why they closed the well on saturday, but they still offered free water next to the hype tent, where they did the free yoga thingy. Next time though I'm not camping so far from the stage, the walk to the bathrooms at 2 am were brutal, and the walks to get water were even worse.

Also what I didn't like were the shuttle buses, they weren't that expensive, but on friday there was a LONG line up, me and my friends ended up bringing all our stock by hand... which was brutal.

The music was fucking great though, I really enjoyed wrecked machines live set. The decorations were great too, and mystica's performance was great. I also liked raw sugga at the chill zone. I liked the sound alot actually, I just found that sunday morning the mids were abit unclear. And is it just me or was there alot of c.d. skippage going on on friday?

It was awesome and it worth the price but the only little negative point is that it was not clearly indicated that we were oblige to pay and park in the 5$ parking and that the camping site was that far from the parking. It was my first eclipse so I couldn't know those things before but anyway....it was incredible and I'll be at the next Eclipse for sure :D
I'm feeling excited! right now..

I just loved it!!! The week-end began a bad way, I got affected by heat and got sick, so I spent most of friday night resting in my tent until I had enough strenght to go to the party, around 1:00 am I'd say. After that, my week-end was mind-blowing! Decoration was awesome, I especially loved the big dragon and the chill room with the candles all over the place. The music was awesome during the whole week-end, some tech problems but that was not too bad. I definetely enjoyed my first Eclipse. Dancing bare feet under the sun was simply magical. See you next year people!
I'm feeling tired and happy right now..

I had a great time , definitely, but I have to say that I found eclipse 2005 better overall. To me the festival is all about the light and positive tunes, a purely joyful experience, and there was just too many dark sets for me to have gotten a true eclipse fix.. however I was really impressed with friday nights talent (and of course wrecked and Jaia torched it no doubt),a very pleasant surprise there, but I hope next year we can return to a genuine eclipse feel, like 2005. Great to have shared it with everyone, peace!

Now, for a little review :

In the magical forest of the "Bonet Rouge", 2000+ trancers gathered together to dance, prey and cherish the music that we all love. From Poi-fire dancers, to saterday night lazer shows, with the kicking sound system that was more than crystal clear, and smiles larger that the camping site istelf. TechSafari has once again put together a very beautiful festival. It was my honor to play at this festival this year and i really hope the people left trancing at 10am appreciated my musical selection. alot of people wanted me to play full-on, but i believed that there was more than enough durring the durration of the festival and TechSafari themselves recommended i play progressive. And thank the lord i did lol.. I think i was dancing harder than the people lol. that's what happens when you love the the music i guess. It was great seeing everyone's smile while i was playing as well as hearing some creative feedback afterwards. I really hope to be a continuous part of the festival in years to come.

As for the music in a little more detail. The sets i appreciated the most were FM Radio GOD's second presentation along with the follow-up by the Ramjets (who's set was 99% better than 2 years ago). Between the FM's electro influences and the re-creating German darkness provided by the ramjets, i was in aural paradise. Unfortunatly, right after Tenzin's set, i felt a little too cold and ran to my tent for safehaven and sleep was the best solution. I heard parts of Wizzy, Edoardo and Wrecked Machines from the tent, but not enough to feel the music out. Im sure it was fun to dance too though.

More highlights for me this year, was swimming in the lake with everyone. There seemed to always be a friendly face in the water and there was nothing more refreshing after taking some sun. So yeah, this year, the music wasn't the only interesting part of the festival, because simply the presence of others and the beautiful environment made my day. Yes yes, I tend to have more fun when the sun is out. !!!

I would also just like to clear up some little issues, such as people complaining about parking being expensive and all. Well, by reading the flyer, i think we knew exactly what to expect and saying that it was confusing is totally ridicule. "Secure parking = 5$" were the exact words used. im sure everyone wanted to put there car in the "unsecure free parking" right? lol Wink

There was also a small delay in the timeslots for friday night, therefor i did not play as planned, but i did play 2 hours later and in the end i think i enjoyed myself more !! Smile

Once again, thanks to TechSafari for investing almost 1 year to prepair such a great party for us. Long life to the festival !!!
I'm feeling clowny right now..
