"The angel of history's face is turned towards the past...Where we perceive a chain of events, he sees a single catastrophe...A storm irresistibly propels him into the future, while the debris before him is piled skywards. This storm is what we call progress."

Walter Benjamin.

i take alot of flak from my friends for being interested in conspiracies they say i am undercutting my credibility as an intelectual and an academic, by putting any credance in these type of things, i still think they are cool.

my questions is if you beleive in things like the illuminati does that make you crazy or paranoid.

well the problem wiht conspiracy theories is that they're always trying to convince you of something and they often have unreliable sources. A bunch of kids read some article about how it's all a lie and think oh my god i cant believe it, and write some big article on it. That's why I only trust actual historians who have no side. Reading a conspiracy theory called "Conspiracy Theory" or on a webpage called conspiracy theory I would expect to get whateveer would entertain me, a tabloid. Nobody shoudl just use one reference for anything or trust sources that don't cite their sources. How do you know where they're getting their info from? Find out or question it strongly. A lot of these conspiracy theorists just read a lot of stuff by other conspiracy theorists who have no education. History is the best teacher cause if the conspiracy theory is full of shit you'll probably find something to prove it wrong. I'm tired of reading bullshit by uneducated people who don't even research the most basic of things. "Oh the masons are devil worshipers cause they have a devil star" "yeah that's cause that's not the fucking devil star you idiot". If I was gonna write an essay on something like this I'd at least use the power of google.

I care about project paperclip. :(

My brother is the type to investigate conspiracy theories. 2-3 years ago he would tell me all sorts of shit about Haliburton, The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion, Al Quaeda, from websites and sources -that at the time- didn't seem to credible. He was telling me about these things before most of you even heard the term Shock and Awe on GNN. People would say "Jesse, your fucking nuts." Hell, i'd say it too. But you wanna know what, I bite my tounge now, because everything he's ever told me is now common knowledge, and everything he's ever said is true.

yeah but what I'm saying is there are good sources for conspiracy's and bad ones. Your brother probably knows the difference well. If anyone believes the truth is hidden and conspiracies do exist it's me, I've just seen a lot of stuff that's downright lies. It's all about being able to smell shit. I'm just trying to say for those who say "look, the TRUTH!!" that both sides always have to be doubted if you don't wanan end up convinced of stupid shit, and studying only one event or one period of time makes people vulnerable to that. You don't think so? There's always a few versions of one apparent truth, it has to be narrowed down before it's believed. I dunno, it's liek sometimes when we question the truth we forget to question the opposing truth too.

About project paperclip, I don't really know anything about it besides that the U.S hired Germans scientists and intelligence personel who were devote Nazi's to help them with military technology during the cold war. They were not alowed to hire anyone who was a former nazi or security threat, and they were all listed as both so they changed their personal records to say they weren't apparently, so that they could hire them. Correct me if I'm wrong though, that's all I've read on the subject and I just looked it up yesterday. I personally havign nothign against them hiring nazi's though, that's all, I mean.. I'd hire a nazi probably, if I was a company and it was the best person for the job. Unless they had a history of violence and psychosis. Anyway, that's just me, I'm too forgiving of people.

ok project paperclip was undertaken by the OSS just around the end of and after WW2. they smuggled top elite german scientists out of germany and brought them to america. there were many who were guilty of horrible war crimes and atrocities in the death camps. These scientists and their families were SECRETLY brought to the United States, without State Department review and approval; their service for Hitler's Third Reich, NSDAP and SS memberships as well as the classification of many as war criminals or security threats also disqualified them from officially obtaining visas. there were many different types of scientists; about 700 propulsion scientists, probably the most famous is werner von braun. now these propulsion scientists basically formed NASA and the US space program. believe it or not. NASA was started by the US with help from the nazi's. or the other way around depending on how you look at it. there were biowarfare scientists like this guy kurt blome. blome was one of those guys who practiced horrible atrocities on people in the concentration camps. he was put on trial at nuremberg and he faced the death sentence. but the US had other plans for him and they basically rigged the trial so that he was acquitted. (perosnally this blows my mind as much as anything...that the nuremberg trials were FIXED....BOGUS...)
Blome was imported to america and put to work near or at (i forget now) fort detrick, in maryland, where the US had just set up a new biowarfare division.
most of the propulsion scientists were deployed at white sands proving grounds in new mexico, where they applied their skills, developped ICBM's , and like i said, went on to found NASA and america's space program.
there were also about 400 or 500 psychiatrists, psychologists, and the like who were brought in also. apparently hitler believed that the greatest weapon to be used against an emeny was not weapons of mass destruction, or nuclear bombs, but psychological warfare. mind control, or "behavioral modification" for those who find the term mind-control hard to swallow.

ok now i'm gonna skip ahead a whole bunch because i dont have time and i want to bring this real close to home. all this has to do with the secret CIA project MK Ultra, and its operational wing MK Delta. horrible horrible things were carried out on unsuspecting citizens under these projects with the aim of learning to control human minds. there was the guy from new york, a doctor, a shrink named Ewen Cameron. this guy was hired under the project and he commuted weekly to MONTREAL to work at the ALLEN MEMORIAL INSTITUTE on mind control and the like. he basically pioneered this technique called psychic driving where you take someones personality and effectively shatter it through insanely high doses of electroconvulsive therapy, massive drug injections, and repeating looped recordings, among other horrific techniques. for example, during meetings with patients, he would record them, and later he would make a tape loop of the patient;s most self-degrading statements, dose the patient with a massive dose of LSD and play the tape, loop back in his ears for weeks and weeks. anyways the end result of all this was the shattering of someone's personality to the point where they had no idea who they were, where they were, or even how to feed themselves or take a piss.
so after this, the patients personality would be rebuilt and compartmentalized into sub-personalities. this has to do with multiple personality disorder, which is actually called dissociative identity disorder. this is what cameron was doing. he would dissociate someone's identity into fragments or compartments, and be able to access specific sub-personalities, or compartments, at will, with specific triggers, whether they be words, or a ring tone, or something like that.
anyways all this shit is available at a shitload of sites, not limited to those cracky-ass conspiracy theory websites, which i try not to frequent or place too much faith in.

there are these 2 people, mark phillips and cathy o'brien. mark is an ex-cia agent and cathy is a mind control victim from MK Ultra that mark rescued and helped. there are a shitload of videos of them speaking on [ youtube.com ] and on google video, so i suggest any skeptics check that out and draw your own conculsions on what theyre claiming, because to put it mildly, it is absolutely MIND BLOWING shit, regardless of its veracity.

oh and by the way, the protcols of the elders of zion is a fake, it was written in france about napoleon in the 19th century, then readopted by the russians early in the 20th to marginalize russian jews. even the nazi's who espoused the doctrines, knew it was a fake, but it served a good purpose for them, so they fronted it as true. i can post an article if anyone wants to read it..

sorry for the disjointedness of this post, but i dont have time to draw up anything more coherent and essay-like in structure right now. anyways i dropped enough info in here for anyone to begin their own investigations of all this, and determine for themselves. bung
