| Verdun does suck. I lived there for 10 years and I've witnessed some of the worst parenting ever. My neighbors let their babies play outside with no surveilance and once, the kid climbed up the stairs until the 3rd floor and almost fell down (his foot got caught in the crack between two metal bars, preventing him from falling). When his mom went outside and picked him up, her reaction was to scream obscenities and shake the baby. How wise, really! And they also let their 11 year old boy smoke, teach him to curse and buy him cigarets. That's so white trash. I just get really angry when I watch that, because these kids will very likely follow the same path as their parents, and they did nothing to deserve that. |
