ill just get some things clear. 1.you can't change the music in the maze, believe me, we've tried more than once, we've asked, we've been nice and polite, didn't work, won't work. 2. that music that you can't change: it sucks (really, ouch) 3. you can't really decide teams (when there are teams, most games are everybody against each other), they'll try to keep you with your friends, but even that isn't guaranteed. 4. you wanna organize something, cool, but it's gonna cost you. you can have a dj in the waiting room (they did it once, it was a crappy party dj), but again, you won't be able to do anything about the music playing in-game. 5. Some people who go there (members) take it pretty seriously, so, no mentions of how high you are, and try not to laugh at them (for the ambiance's sake). 6. all those things (music, teams, overzealous participants) don't matter once your on speed and you wanna shoot people, because that's what it's about: shooting people with laser guns in a blacklighted maze. so, umm, yeah, stop worrying about trivial things (music, teams, can i dj?, wich crowd would be better) and go reserve your spot and prepare yourselves to shoot some people with laser guns. thank you |

| Coolness: 32890 | for the maze: i can say it hasnt changed in the last three years. i dont think it ever changed, but i cant guarantee.
for the music: id say im 98% sure. i've talked extensively with the manager about renting the place and related subjects, ESPECIALLY the music (wich i hate, it sucks, and how many times can you listen to the same crappy songs over and over). there had been a time where they could change it, it was a weird "you have to put the music on a videotape, and well be able to put it in the maze" thing (really...), and they let us because they like us (we're cool, we're there to have fun, not like those crazy members people). But now we can't. the problem is with the franchise. they cant touch the soundsystem for the maze, it has to be the laser-quest-certified-audio-technician guy. after the videotape-music era, the only time i can put some music while we play is for the "Royal Rumble" wich is a game that takes place in the whole building, so you can play in the waiting room. I could decide the music that was playing in that area. but that was because the manager liked me and the music i put. i think that covers it all. if you have any other questions ill be happy to answer them, i just hope it'll translate in more attendance so that, in the end, i can finally shoot at people. |
