"But military issues right now don't mean fuck all. They would invade, but with capital instead. Major digression of investments would mean realy cheap assets could be afforded here, and we'd become american property.
Such as your ass, which already goes realy cheap on the market I hear. __________________" but wouldnt that make the whole seperation worthless, yes Quebec would become its own country, but very soon after it will belong to the Americians making it a new state. in Canada we are accepting that quebec wants to speak french, our 2 languages in Canada are English and French. In the states there is only one language. and once quebec becomes america, there will no longer be bill 101, english will be forsed upon them, in schools, on tv. i know im talking out of my ass now (apparentally worth something... how much is it at simon?), but i dont see any gain for quebec seperating, no gain on either side (the rest of Canada) what i dont like is the fact that quebec wants to seperate because they believe that they will lose their launguage in this province, thinking Canada will ruine their heritage. i come from an all english family and i was lucky enough to make it through school before quebec started forcing parents to send their quebec born kids to french school. (right now, i believe, that if you were born in quebec you have to go to french school, no matter what). i dont find it fair that quebec is trying to get rid of the english language and turning all the quebecers against the rest of Canada and the english people of this province.... again thats just my 2 cents |

With the birth rate we have right now, Quebec will eventually just be a bunch of arabs and asians |

In short.. it's too late. It would've been something in the early 80's before immigration. But now, there's no unity in the population on that topic and it'S just wack to drag it on. And I'll prolly be bashed for this, but Charest made more progress for Quebec's recognition of "compétences" which meant budget control over key social aspects. CAnd when you think about it, Quebec as a province can be recognised if it has budget s for every single entity that a contry has... ex: There's Maison du Québec abroad, there's a immigration Quebec, etc. |

I hope for a Quebec freed from its shitty music on the radio. And it's gay musical tastes in general. And from groupe Gillett.
And from the obssession with having the government control everything for the sake of 'public safety'/'public health'. And the taxes for everything. Buy something, pay 13%. Make money, pay 33%. Take a piss, pay 15%. And from sex with your english-speaking mamas. |

Very mature of them. Get with the fucking times, this isn't 1983 anymore , a lot more serious things need tending to than fucking seperation.
1- present's past future (not 1984 still somehow story rewroted on da daily basis) 1763,1867 is the roots of geopolitics structure so as Yalta or whatsoever 2- the tool ( a way not an end) *** melting pot of acquired ideas : -fear of an french planet -anyway the truth of the winner is the only one -so colonized in our body & in our soul in the mourning, in the evening, I will set you free... -migrants from civil war do seek statu quo (understable) races ain't 'people enemy' - 'le big bleu book' seize back our history contextualize conseil de souveraineté did push it far @ kindergarden between that from here & now like my friend's words -facts not ideology- good one on the foreign policy St.economic freedom PQ? with zlea -free for all- support... itchy sovereignty's sold at what term... I fear BouMack - some more Redneck... the good the bad & the ugly, the 'right'eous - had you pop it? - and after all we & WILL be lovin' you - PL what a scandal... but hey it's pure dualism (I don't know is it?) - love & hate as my 1st prior - Yes restructure of taxation : for the wretched chummy - 'secessionist' ; ghost in the shell (copy?) -------------------------------------------- that homie tourist you hate to love |

It's anyone who's parent's did NOT go to english school in Quebec. If your parents went to english school in Quebec you have the right to go too. BEFORE it was like this also, BUT there was also another way to get into english school and that was by going to private school for 2 years. If you did 2 years in private school you were allowed to go to english school. They changed that though. Now the only way is if your parents went to english school. I'm fucking glad my mom went to english school. That basically means that if you are an immigrant(or even if your parents were immigrants) you have no choice but to go to french school, not even if you're filthy rich. |

What's with the " 55th state of the United States " thing ?
The U.S. views us as sort of a smaller version of France that's trying to live like them. And when the americans see how much their american dollar is worth here, I'm sure they have no desire to " convert " this tourist attraction. |
