Oh man. I can't believe this. I first met Mike a few years ago. Over the last few years, I've run into him at parties in Montreal and Toronto. He was always a great guy to dance or have a drink with. Him and I also spoke occasionally on MSN, especially during some tough times in both our lives. He was a great guy to talk with. Definetly helped me through some tough times and I hope I was able to do the same for him.
I remember one of the first times I met him was at a MEMF fundraiser house party. We were joking around and he grabbed my hat and threw it downstairs. The hat disappeared. In fact, I was jokingly cursing him about it the other day. There was never a dull moment when Mike was around. I'm definetly going to miss him. RIP Mike. |

I know this is hard for everyone, really everyone, mike touched us all in different ways big or small, and I hope we can all stick together. |

This is pretty damned depressing.
I never knew Mike very well...in fact I only really knew him when he'd beg me for a lift home from a party back to the Waste. Haha. What a guy. My condolences go out to all friends and family affected by this terrible loss. |

one of the nicest things i've learned from Mike, as soon as i met him like 4/5 years ago, was that behind a bad-ass/provocating attitude , there was a GREAT HUMAN BEING
dude was wise, cultivated and had this cosmic sense of humour which everyone should learn from .. i loved him lots from the beginnings "til the end saw him at electronik high and a few weeks later at Vinyl tuesdays, both times we talked for a while and it seemed like he was happy ....couldnt say thought ... imma stop now cuz i got too much memories and i got tears coming outta my eyes right now and i'm at work so it aint the perfect time .. dude will remain in our hearts FOREVER we gotta learn from this |

I cant say I was ever super close with Mike, but I did consider him one of my friends. Hung out with him many times at the Level 4 parties at the club on Bishop, plus other random places/parties here and there. While he sometimes got on my nerves, it was always good times...laughing it up, doing our best (err...worst) Arnold impersonations and such....
RIP MIKE [Arnold voice] NHYAAAAGGGGAHGH!! I'M A CLONE BABY [/Arnlond voice] |

Damn. Heard that on Saturday night and even if I didn't knew him personally, I felt like crying just looking at these pics.
Saw him and talked to him a couple of times @ parties. He will be missed. Never fun to hear that somebody around you passed away. RIP |

Death is more universal than life; everyone dies but not everyone lives.
Very sad and unnecessary, still cant really believe it, Condolences and deepest sympathies to family and friends |

shit, im crying at work now too......definitely someone to be best portrayed in crazy pics of him doing random stuff......
my heart goes out to all you that were so close with him, i hadnt known mike that long either, and thought he was a wanker at first, its weird cause we just had a big talk on thursday about what he wanted to do and all this stuff.....he was one of my favorite regulars on tuesdays, him and kafwin and pascale always represented early, and me and mike would pretend we were in a living room and shout and stuff....i always appreciated him for his too muchness, even when it would get to be a little much...... anyways, mike i will miss you man, happy trails i hope, to wherever you are going or are..... |

-mike was a good guy, and people like him really made me realize that I shouldn't be so serious all the time, and that it is important to let loose and have fun and be spontaneous...
It was never boring with him around... I realized there was a lot more to the guy than what I first saw, and he was a deep person too...- Scotty P so much truth in these words |

Beatles - Blue Jay Way Lyrics
There's a fog upon L.A. And my friends have lost their way We'll be over soon they said Now they've lost themselves instead. Please don't be long please don't you be very long Please don't be long or I may be asleep Well it only goes to show And I told them where to go Ask a policeman on the street There's so many there to meet Please don't be long please don't you be very long Please don't be long or I may be asleep Now it's past my bed I know And I'd really like to go Soon will be the break of day Sitting here in Blue Jay Way Please don't be long please don't you be very long Please don't be long or I may be asleep. Please don't be long please don't you be very long Please don't be long Please don't be long please don't you be very long Please don't be long Please don't be long please don't you be very long Please don't be long Don't be long - don't be long - don't be long Don't be long - don't be long - don't be long. |

NEIL YOUNG "Only Love Can Break Your Heart"
When you were young and on your own How did it feel to be alone? I was always thinking of games that I was playing. Trying to make the best of my time. But only love can break your heart Try to be sure right from the start Yes only love can break your heart What if your world should fall apart? I have a friend I've never seen He hides his head inside a dream Someone should call him and see if he can come out. Try to lose the down that he's found. But only love can break your heart Try to be sure right from the start Yes only love can break your heart What if your world should fall apart? I have a friend I've never seen He hides his head inside a dream Yes, only love can break your heart Yes, only love can break your heart |
