i guess i was lucky.. just very weird that they came into my room and took nothing.. i mean they could have very easily stolen my laptop or ipod at least......... |

| Was your laptop or ipod in plain view? Most thieves have a short range of operation time. In and out. He or they probly just look quickly, like less than 10 seconds.
Maybe he/they wore looking for something very specific for someone's list, like a laptop. Except that he/they found your neighbour's first and didn't bother with yours.
I think most people won't report the crime if one or two items were stolen. Smart thieves don't take everything. |

| my ipod, camera, laptop and many other items are just lying there on my desk in plain view. they obviously came into my room since my webcam was knocked over, which puts them about 1/2' away from all those items.. |
