hahahahahahahaha
you're such a blind seperatist. How can the bloc POSSIBLY get their sovereinty laws in ottawa without a majority vote? No other party would ever support that. Quebec will not seperate any time soon. It just wont happen. Toughies. |

the bloc is a load of shit
i never said voting for them is voting for the conservatives.. but voting for them is very useless what im complaining about is the debates.. why should they get special treatment? every party leader in the debates is supposed to have acandidate running in something like 75% of the ridings throughout canada why shoudl they get special treatment? they have what? 75 ridings out of 308 with candidates thats fucking eats shit "Oh i'm protecting the french language!!" woosely poosely... the green party is trying to protect nature.. do you see them at the debates? no! why? because they dotn have enough candidates! |

neoform: there's no needed law to be voted in Ottawa for the seperation. If the federal wants one or two or five, fine, but if a the referendum has 50%+1 and the federal government don't agree, too bad for them, they will have to accept it.
I'm no blind separatist, I love politic and If things continues this way, the next referendum will be the last one for sure. |

mdc: why are you speaking of a special treatment? What you are saying is to give them a special treatment because you don't like them and you don't agree with their ideas. C'mon, be neutral for a bit. They have enough seat to be an official party, that's the law.
As an example: Do you think we should give more voice to Jim Harris and his Green party more voice? Even if they have no seat and do not have representant in all circonscription? They are able to have 7% of the vote, so I think, yes, we should hear more from them, and they should be treated as a real serious party, which they are not now. If you people think I am a blind separatist, let's say that, from my point of view, you people do not seem to be informed about what's going on on the other side of your opinion, which comes to say that you look like to be blind federalists. |

Uhh no, during the '95 referendum there was no clear number as to what constituted a winning vote. if 50.0001% of quebecers want to seperate... does that sound like a true majority to you?
And by the way, according to federal laws, it is illegal for any province to seperate. |
Good [+1]Toggle ReplyLink» mdc replied on Wed Nov 9, 2005 @ 8:34pm |
It is illegal, but if any province wishes to do so, the federal government ought to let them.
According to a Supreme Court Ruling |

why not?
because you don't agree with the idea? why should a 50%-1 lose by thinking in that way? |
Good [+1]Toggle ReplyLink» Mico replied on Wed Nov 9, 2005 @ 9:04pm |
Any province can secede as long as they hyave the majority vote (50%+1) as long as the House of Commons considers the question to be clear.
It's called the Clarity act. |

Then vote for someone else. Don't want to vote for someone else? Then run yourself. I could go on, but really.. it's not that complicated. |

Know what else? I don't think any of you shoudl be considered educated enough to vote. You're all blind!! All of you!! You are all splurting shit out of ur ass!!! NONE of you have ANY clue what you are talkign about. You are all all aaaaaalllllll IKUSHGDOAPL;DBNHAPLFCH |

noo.. fine, if you don't want to vote, then.. don't fucking complain when the wrong guy gets elected. |
Good [+1]Toggle ReplyLink» moondancer replied on Thu Nov 10, 2005 @ 2:20am |
The wrong guy gets elected cause people don't knwo who the wrong guy is and they vote, and screw everyone else over.. but really nobody knows. |
Good [+1]Toggle ReplyLink» moondancer replied on Thu Nov 10, 2005 @ 2:21am |
Therefore if you feel that your vote would be too un-educated, or impulsive it would be iresponsable to vote. |
Good [+1]Toggle ReplyLink» neoform replied on Thu Nov 10, 2005 @ 2:33am |
In a democratic society, it is not your right to vote, it is you DUTY to vote. If you do not want to educate yourself, that is your own loss since you will then elect some chump who will fuck no one other than YOURSELF over. Not voting is basically saying "I do not feel like educating myself enough in order to pick the proper person to run this country." |
