| seriously, part of what makes ravewave so great is that the site is like 99% text, followed by avatars and one top-right banner, and that makes the site take a lot less time to load. Add in embeded music, might as well follow it up with a total Flash conversion amd put streaming video on every page because the site is gonna get slower, take more time to load, and risk crashing more people's computers (Not everyone on earth has a top-of-the-line machine)
Go take a look at some MySpace profiles. Now imagine the whole site taking that long to load, all the time. |

| Yeah, ravewave is getting dangerously close to myspace. And I'm totally against music, videos, oversized pics, or anything on profiles that make it longer to load. |

| Je vais souvent voir un profil seulement pour savoir qui est la personne, après avoir lu un post. J'aime avoir l'info rapidement. J'ai rien contre les links, tu peux en avoir des centaines si tu veux, mais j'aime que le profil lui même load rapidement. Sans compter que Noah a pas a hoster des tonnes de vidéos et de mp3. |

| I don't think embed src shouldn't slow anything down too much. Not unless you add video. It's not like adding massive amounts of code. It takes IE a millisecond to process. |

| Spinner, youre profile took quite more time to load that a regular one. And background music and movies are annoying, especially if I'm listening to music while I'm on the internet. |

| I'm waiting for someone to make a little flash program which will load a little music player... Once that is done then the only way to have a track on your page will be from that player... And the default will be set to "not play" but people will be able to press the play button to play... Too many things to do... I'm working on the SMS thing now... It's fuckin annoying... |
