Holy SHIT! This is crazy...and horrible.. Ok I live at Snowdon Metro.. and last night I, as usual was riding home to Snowdon.. The metro car passed right past Snowdon without stopping so I had to get out another station and find my way to my bus. We drove past Snowdon Metro and there were like 30 cop cars and they were blocking off the station.

Look Why: (Poor woman!! DAMN.. fucked up shit)

Berserk attacker wounds 5
Panic in Snowdon. Woman battered on metro platform, in critical condition

ROBERTO ROCHA
The Gazette

September 14, 2005

A man is expected to be charged today with attempted murder and assault with a weapon after five women were injured in savage attacks in the Snowdon metro station last night.

Witnesses say the incident began about 7:20 p.m., when they saw a bulky man in his late 20s beat a woman in her 40s on the metro platform, then smash her face against a wall.

He then attacked other women while threatening to rape them. Witnesses said the assailant was holding a weapon, but they were unsure whether it was a knife or a hammer. Frightened onlookers then rushed out of the station.

Carmina Vanessa Senosier, 18, was waiting for her boyfriend at the station's exit. Seeing people flee the building, she thought a bomb had gone off.

She heard pale and shaken metro riders talk about the attacker and a victim lying in a pool of blood.

Then she saw the alleged attacker run out of the station, down Westbury Ave., his hands bloody.

"He started banging on people's doors, asking them to let him in," Senosier said.

When police arrived, the man resisted arrest, injuring two officers and himself in the head, Montreal police Constable Steve Morissette said.

Other witnesses said a man tried to tackle the attacker in the station, but was punched in the face. A young woman was seen leaving the station with her clothes drenched in blood, possibly from another victim.

The attacker's first victim was listed in critical condition in a hospital, where doctors feared for her life last night. The other four victims were slightly injured.

Police closed the station for several hours, telling commuters to walk to neighbouring stations.

A motive for the attack is unknown, Morissette said, as the suspect was not co-operating with investigators last night.

Yeah but keep in mind this guy injured two trained cops when they tried to arrest him.. It would probably take quite a few big people to take him down, especially if he was fucked up on drugs..

new article on [ cfcf.ca ] says:

Rampage at Snowdon Metro

A woman in her 50s was fighting for her life on Wednesday after a man went berserk with a knife at the Snowdon Metro station.
A 27-year-old man stabbed five people at the station about 7:20 on Tuesday evening.
Witnessses said a bulky man groped, beat and stabbed a woman on the Metro platform, sending her to hospital in critical condition.
He then attacked two other women and two men.
Montreal police spokesman Robert Mansueto said there was no motive for the attacks.
"It appears to be a very random act," Mansueto told CFCF News.
"(An act) of an extreme violence that we don't normally see very much in Montreal."
Two officers were hurt while arresting the suspect, who faced a long list of charges Wednesday including attempted murder.

true, but just push him onto the tracks, should be able to do that if you catch him off balance.

Hopefully the whole thing got caught on platform cameras. Open and closed case... oh wait... here comes the temporary insanity plea.

Most people don't know how to handle a violent possibly very high and irrational individual... Unless you have a group of people who are trained to take out that kind of person then it would be very hard... A lot of people will say "oh if I was there I would have done something", but chances are they would have had no fucking clue what to do...

Did anyone ever stop to think maybe thats why two more men and two more women were injured, trying to stop him?

Its true, you dont see this kind of thing very often in montreal, its scary. but I wouldnt be suprised if we started seeing it more and more. I dont just mean this kind of violence.. but criminal acts of all kind.
