- the insane shopping period - the cramped overcrowded stores - the we're-all-out-until-february gifts you can't find - going to family parties & wishing you were out drinking with buddies instead - managing to talk your way out of going to a family party only to find out ALL your friends couldn't do the same and you end up getting drunk ALONE in your room on Xmas eve - besides, if you manage to go out with friends, you have no money to get drunk because... - ...you maxed out your credit cards for all your loved ones...only to find out 3 people are giving you something along the lines of 3 white t-shirts, a 10$ Wal-Mart gift certificate and a Kelly Clarkson CD (WTF !) - if you own a car, shoveling 45 minutes to go to a party you know will be boring as Hell - I'm sorry but you CAN'T get drunk at a family party and that's final - or HIGH either - having to dress nice to go to your relatives house. Unless you like dressing up, why can't I celebrate Xmas in phat pants, tell me ? - I don't care what people say, the Xmas period is a fucking stressful period of the year and everyone's so edgy, they have to believe in the magic of Xmas to stay positive I don't see how anyone claiming to be " underground " can love this festival of commercialistic mockery. It's like claiming to be selective and all into smaller parties and local talent and shit and end up finishing the year at Celebration. WTF ? Xmas has the same amount of letters as Hell. Coincidence ? I think now. I just hate it. |
