logistics can be as hardcore, but not expenses eclipse falls in the category of those big psytrance worldwide outdoor events, and its known worldwide also and well totally different from all other ghetto outdoor jams ... lets have a bunch of 'em this summer thought ! |

| Coolness: 146270 | the fact that it's free in europe and not in america probably comes from the fact that a huge part of the underground scene in europe has an anarcho-punk spirit and background... they're born in england as "free parties" with spiral tribe/network23, and whilst spreading in europe it kept its libertarian and free aspect as a basis. the artists there are sometimes known worldwide, but it's not in the same commercial spirit as here, and most of them play for free ; there's no promotion because these parties are often illegal, though there are often thousands, even tens of thousands people there.
here in north america, almost nothing is free, and this looks like something unchangeable... in a way, it gives a more balanced aspect of everything, since everything costs a defined amount of money. the good part about it is that there are much more parties, and more often ; but the genres are generally not mixed... which has its advantages and drawbacks. |
