Who said anything about evolution?
And if you'd seen Peter Jackson's 3rd movie, Dead Alive, you'd realise that zombies DO fuck (a priest and a nurse none the less) and have scary baby-zombie-childred that gestate in a matter of hours. But for the sake of this post, I think we're refering to the Romero zombies (Night, Dawn, Day, Land) In the original Dawn, they explained it with the zombies wandering in the mall. There were no humans in the mall, no food. It's just something that they did in life that was important to them (the original Dawn being the one that took the theme of NotLD that humans' refusal to set asside their diffrences and cooperate was going to cause our decline, this time taking a stab not at racism/sexism with Night, but with consumerism and an attatchment to material possesions) |

Ok, yeah I think I remember that also. It's not really evolving, just the people in the movie trying to understand what's going on, seeing as how Land is the 4th in the serries. From what I recall, they were just people drafted into this anti-zombie army, but in Day there are scientists doing research on them and how/why they work. |

fred, you're justifying/explaining ficticious things.
it's like me trying to prove why lightsabers make that "whiiirrrrr-crack!" sound when swung.. |

That was honestly the only Zombie movie that I like/didn't make me piss myself (because I'm scared shitless of Zombies!) Mind you, that Zombie baby rocked!! And not to forget the rat-monkey that started it all... Bahahaha! ...All of this gives me the idea for a *wait for it* ZOMBIE PORNO! |

:lol well I dunno about zombie porn but I've got 2 German movies about a necrophiliac couple that's daaaaaaamn disturbing.
As in, taping a popsicle stick to a corp's dick and putting a condom on it to fuck it while your husband watched kinda disturbing. |

Zombies originate from a real-life phenomena, in an intensely over-exaggerated fashion. The idea probably came from Haiti where the people have believed in Zombies for a long time and still do. It's sort of like how a psycho blood-bathing bitch like Elizabeth Bathory gets warped into a vampire tale after a few hundred years. The movement of dead people after death exists and is explained although getting up, walkign around and eating people is a VERY different story. |
