| my 2 cents:
dont leave flyers in public places, its against the law, and basicly it comes down to littering. There aint much incentive to do so anyways, since thats not how you are gonna reach customers (we are talking parties). Maybe on 10000 flyers left in public place, 100 will reach ppl interested, and 1 will buy a ticket. of course these are invented numbers but they seem pretty accurate.
I think its sad that you got fined, but it was to be expected. The only downside to that law is that only rich corporations or pmes can afford marketing in the streets.
On a side-issue: I would rather have a law to stop those trucks with big insignias going aroudn downtown polluting 12h/day and fuckign up trafic, but i think the law with flyers is needed. Imagine if the ppl that dont have the guts to go around the law could now leave flyers everywhere?
To the person that said they received a letter and replied saying they dont do it and to fine anyone they see leaving their flyers in public places. That seems like the professional thing to do. |
