no really, i'm being serious here.
i know some of you may be ashamed to admit it, but if you can at least tolerate the trance then check this shit out. my cousin is really cool - one of my heroes actually. he got me interested in music growing up (he introduced me to the Pet Shop Boys!) and he and his friend Antoine just released their first album on System Records. They were originally signed on Vandit after giving a demo to Paul Van Dyk when he was spinning at Aria. they did a collaboration with 80's one-hit wonder TIFFANY, does it get any cooler than that? you can download stuff here: [ music.download.com ] anyway, check them out. I like it. It sounds like a song about obsession versus true love, if I can put it that way.
"You are my dream when I am sleeping,,, you are my thoughts when I am awake-- and I don't even know your name." --- The "I don't even know your name part is repeated many times leaving me with the impression that the thing, which is consuming the person's waking and sleeping life is not even something he has innate knowledge about. If whoever reading this does not understnad the concept of innate knowledge, you will miss my point. I like the way it starts musically. But besides the chorus, I can harldy make out the other lyrics. Tried looking for lyrics, did not find. Anyone? |
