who cares, he wont bring any changes to the church..

remember: all the cardinals were picked by the last pope.

ie. they all have the same agenda as him, meaning there will never be any change in the church..

One liberal theologian, when asked what he thought of a Ratzinger papacy, was more direct: “It fills me with horror.”

All the kids in Germany at the time were forced into the Hitler Youth. If we're gonna hate on him, hate on him for being anti-gay and anti-contraceptive

It might be wise to do some research on the vatican and Pope Pius XI during world war 2.

For real,

Strange thing was though, even though I don't really give a shit about the catholic church because they make me think of greedy pedophiles, but at my first sight of this guy... I just had a really bad feeling, much like when Bush was elected.

The thing that scared me even more was the fact that this guy has nick-names like: "The enforcer" and "God's Rotweiller", like what the fuck is up with that!?

Not only does he have questionable pet-names, but many people from his native country disaprove of his inaguration into the papalcy -something like over 25% more. That's a little disturbing.

As well as the fact of his stance on certain issues...

"or many people in the Catholic Church, the name Ratzinger is one that is not that well received, especially by the more liberal elements of the church," Bechard told CTV.

"He's considered someone who has often taken a hard-line stance on moral issues and a lot of different doctrinal issues," Bechard told CTV.

Well, at least he's an old fart. Hopefully ten years from now, they'll put in a more open-minded and liberal charatcer to do "God's bidding."
