djneoform: My friend does heavy photoshop editing using two monitors, but I agree that it's even more important for 3d work or music... I find having a wide monitor is especially useful for music in fact...

i dont think you could fit another crt monitor on your desk so you should get a lcd. last time i checked they went for 300$

well saying it's a flat monitor doesn't help either since there are a lot of flat CRT monitors.
