Definate nice vibes for sure!

GREAT JOB GUYS! Whoo fucken Hoo!

What a great night, it was a little weird being at an IDj in an afterhours and it took me a little while to get into it, but when I heard those basslines rattlin' my brain IT FELT LIKE HEAVEN!

Dom: Things didn't go as planned but I was still massively entertained by your set, your stuff rocks!

Galaksy: LOVED YOUR SETS!!! Boom!

Nitrous: Big ups! I always love your sets!!

Benji: Keep it up man! PRops!

and finally Klute: He rawked me solid! He was everything I was expecting and MORE! I'm glad he played on a big system like that, it sounded like GOLD!

Anyways everyone I talked to that night seemed to be having a GREAT time!

Thanks Norm and Liz for having me over after the party! ;)

Once again! Thanks guys, it was a real treat!

yup, MAGICAL is the word on my mind also...

of all the times i've been to gravity, that was by far the dopest, a truly amazing night... the sound was fantastic for DnB, Klute's shit sounded SO ILL.. unfortunately i didn't get to hear anyone else... but had tons of fun playing for 3 hours in the chill room (even though the system in the 2nd room was a little messed -other promoters will have a chance to improve on that over the next couple of months)..

this was truly an amazing night.. tons of peeps all having a wicked time, maxing, relaxing, felt really special.. like the underground finally conquered Montreal.. MAD huge PROPS to iDJ, thanks for making me a small part of such an amazing night, best party this year by far, the best in Da Jungle ever in my opinion (and an excellent way to celebrate 3 yrs).. KEEP KEEPIN it on boyz

I'm sure I typed this all earlier.. hmm how'd that get lost.. musta switched windows or hit home at some point.. Dang.

The party was wicked. IDJ rollin beats all night long, bean bag pillows, interesting layout at gravity..

Negatives (sorry lol, it is a review forum)

- Flyers stated party would start at 10pm, it did not begin however until shortly after midnight.

- Too many beat stops. Long duration, near to each other lengths of time without beats... I don't know how many times I got ready to dive back into beats and unexpectidly didnt recieve them... makes ya lose the heart to dance.

- Not a single BLACK LIGHT??

-Dangerous! The lighting was a lot of blinking on and off of many types of lights. However much of the time the lights were synced so that all would shut off at the same time. This coupled with the lack of black lights (which would have made the white tape on the various staircases around glow) made moving around almost dangerouns at some points. Watch your step!

Positives (are many more than I'm listing here)
- Sound system! Holy shit! Vibrated from inside out!

-Rolling DNB! You dj's spin some mad funky rolls. I was diggin the rythmics and dancing mad stylez controlled and created by your digs! Cya at the next one!

- Peoples! A few that I've met before and many new faces, some from the u.s. and others from unknown origin. Great people all around, even when you're a bit out there yourself. HEHE

-Layout, seating, accoutrements. Gravity has a great layout. The curvy formation of the seating areas and the access to everything is great! Lots of places to move around, sit, stand, dance! Huge shared bathroom area! Running water for refills! And no additional vendors to feel bad about not buying anything from. :P We're not all rich ya know hehe.

- Chill room! If I hadn't been on speed, I'm sure I woulda enjoyed this area much more.. However I was suprised and somewhat dissapointed that noone danced in that room at all.

-All in all, one fantastic DNB night! You've got me Klute!

All I can say is WOW...

I hadn't been to an IDJ for a long time for various reasons. But this party sure as hell brought back my faith for the scene here in Montreal.

Everyone was fucking great, music was amazing -huge props to galaxy for being able to make me dance without the pills. It was my first time at Gravity, and i'm glad my first time there was for this party. The venue itself is beautiful, ample seating, ample dancing space, incredible sound, and very impressive lighting, and there's even enough room to just roam around aimlessly.

Like this guy told me that evening about IDJ and the Montreal scene: "This party here is the pinnacle of what IDJ can be, but even with that said, I know these guys will never quit raising the bar. It's almost like a rebirth"

And I couldn't agree more.

Congratulations, and thank you to the IDJ crew for providing a great atmosphere, and creating a name that Montreal can be proud off.

3-more fuckn' year baby!

Missed my point. UV lights cause the people to become light sources too. It adds depth to the dance floor and allows people to find focus in a flashing strobe environment.

yo thanks for the constructive comments Skintracker
appreciated, seriously

i was waiting for a few negative points to work on ...i mean i've noticed the same kinda ..

well i can give some explanations right here ;

about the opening hour ; we had to switch location last-minute during last week, original venue being shut down by the fire department for some electrical troubles ...
SO we booked Gravity and then ended up with some lil' different details to deal with ..including the opening hour of the jam ,..
we've mentionned it online, at the stores, on the infoline and such ..that doors would be opening at 12 instead of 10 ..
then i admit the lineup was kinda slow but that can always be worse anyways, such venues with tight-security take their time to do the job properly ,.,.and its their spot so we have to respect that ,...
originally the party was gonna go til 7 and it went til 8 instead ...so if u think it usually says 10 but there never is anyone before 11 ...it breaks even ..

about the lighting i guess the guy in control was into the mood of the dark drum&bass that was played that night ....well we'll check it out next time ..

anyways i dont feel sorry or whatever
comments are constructive and we always took 'em as such ...well at least i can say i did on my side ..

blablabla shut me up :lol

I've noticed at Gravity before that the lights on the dancefloor always seem to put me in an epileptic seisure of something cuz the strobes always really bug me... But it's always like that at gravity...
